Arrow Lake sorely needs some optimization on both OS and BIOS/microcode before we'll really know how its going to really perform. Just another botched premature launch.. AMD Ryzen 9000 and other Ryzen CPUs also had the same issue with poor optimization due to Windows at it's launch. Hopefully in a month or two we'll see some incremental improvements and better stability.
i just watched a clever young mans channel who has owned intel for years and has optimized the core arrow to insider build to take advantage of the scheduling update that's coming. it's all about matching everything in the entire ecosystem. to much fanboyism dunking on intel & i own both platforms btw and just laugh at these major game channels shilling for amd
he has two other videos, one overclocking p cores one for e cores. people can do more than one thing you know? we've got new silicon, he wanted to test out each component, what's wrong with that?
I could see someone snagging a 245K for a slim and quiet ITX build. The iGPU/CPU configuration is fairly close to an 8700G and I could see it being a better option than that in certain use cases. But yeah, it's mostly useless in the 285K unless you're doing some bespoke Intel thing like QuickSync or OpenVINO stuff.
from 245K to 285K there's same iGPU. Now, Intel have very good iGPU for productivity, example is Adobe applications. Also you can put Streaming through iGPU so not to eat out FPS in your games on dGPU. it's called QuickSync.
Arrow Lake is Intel’s revolutionary new processor... revolutionary? Riiiiight. I thought Intel would do some kind of integrated version of battlemage for the graphics on this cpu but apparently they didnt do that... shame. But still it has double the performance compared to 14900KS in graphics so pretty good... but its still half the performance of a GTX1060... which is not great.
Thanks for doing all the funky OC stuff we never think of! I'm so intrigued by this chip, you finally have to rethink overclocking!
igpu is not that useless, it can be used in decoding
Would be very grateful if u could release a long video on step by step guide!🙌🏼
It's planned but no ETA
@ awesome! Thanks
thanks bro
Revolutionary? Hardly when it gets beat by CPUs from 3 generations ago. But nice that Intel sent you some free stuff for you to play with.
the architectural changes are revolutionary, the performance isn't

Intel was focusing on efficiency this year, not performance. I am not an Intel fan boy, but I am not against Intel for this.

whats the channel?

first and best, better than the rest
Unlike Intel 😂
Sorry. But finds this analysis really no sense. Who buys this CPU to use only with integrated graphics.

A lark mainly.

Well at least arrow lake igpu is a great media encoder/decoder. And in games you have XeSS. Didn’t it match the 1060 performance in overclock?
It’s essentially a paid ad.
why you guys are here? it is not a place for noobs. you should go and see mainstream review and bark a bit then sleep.
