No need to be a negative Nancy. Given the new architectures, new IP blocks, new packaging technology, Arrow Lake is without a doubt a revolutionary new product for mainstream desktop. Of course it's up to debate whether the new approach is successful or not.
Last AVX 512 support from Intel is 12th gen, and not even all 12th gen, just certain earlier batch of certain SKU, my 12400 support AVX 512, but if I update BIOS to newest version support will be gone too.
In future when the game is supported using NPU this old gen NPU is no longer quick enough 😅 Game have performance requirements to complete the question within required time Not like generating a picture you can come back 2 days later
By the time NPUs would be useful for gaming, this one would be too weak to do anything. My guess is that they couldn't redesign a new soc tile specifically for desktop, so they reused the one from Meteor Lake with increased clocks. And that NPU was already too weak to do anything, Microsoft themselves said that to do simple things in Windows you need at least 40 Tops, Arrow Lake only has 13.
It will be the same BS that Apple has been peddling for the last 5 years, and then when push comes to shove, the ones already on the market won’t support the right format or will just be too slow, and you’ll have to but a new CPU.
can disable npu?
Not that I'm aware of
Is there any software using the NPU already ?
i am surprised that you don't burst out in laughter when you said the first sentence of your video.
He is paid for it.

Can I enable AVX512 if I disable the NPU?
You can't enable something that isn't there.

Sounds like intel locked this cpu down
in the future it would be used in gaming somehow, needing to overclock NPU for daily use.

//EDIT: seems like you actually can
