@@SennTherna thing is, not everyone is faker and you’re bound to make a mistake at some point. Sure you can lose lane but that doesn’t mean the end of the world, it’s a 5v5 game. I jungle and if I see you’re a half competent laner that doesn’t go 0-10 at 15 mins mark, I will gank the teemo.
I've always felt the garen vs teemo match very heavily favors garen but people don't play it right. You litterally just have to be patient for a few levels then you can just kill him on repeat, just as this video demonstrates.
Ever since I was a noobie I picked Garen into Teemo. It just made sense to me as a counter pick. Regen passive against any poke you take, cleanse slows and speed up to get to him, e works through blind, and you execute to win the all in at 6. Garen is made to slaughter cocky Teemo players.
@@pwn0grapher mostly comes down to player skill, it's usually much easier to play meeles/bruisers correctly (if suboptimally) than kite properly as ranged champions. Teemo counters assuming he can kite properly, which doesn't happen this low. All the counters are mostly irrelevant or at least playable low elo. Higher elo you can play passively and get dove by 2-3 people even on third wave, which in itself fortifies the counter matchups. Low elo most junglers are scared to dive or can't do it properly. Hence the big difference.
Not much of a garen fan but always had trouble against teemo in top lane so the video still helps with learning how too play into that match up easier great coaching as always
I love it when Neace uses the term Checkmate, but I also feel there is a difference between what happens after achieving Check, vs Checkmate, and based on what kind of champ/role you are playing, what you do after putting the enemy in check can also change slightly.

I understand in how chess you can use thing like check to your advantage and blah blah, don't play much of it, but yeah it's a bit different...but I still like the phrasing of it because it's more about the concept of getting people to understand that there is a time and a place to act out certain shit....I like thinking of it as like... "Do I have the green light?"

@@chefski9561 No, then he might lose vision of Zed in the river from being too far away, and Yuumi probably wouldn't have been able to land her ult. Landing the Q is less important than just closing the gap ASAP.

Trying to hold Q so you can catch up at the perfect time to land the silence would be unreasonably greedy.

Basically what i learned from my time in top lane (I main jungle, but have mained top back in the day like season 2-3) you just need to minimize damage you take. Don't take autos or anything so that you can preserve HP, then all in him. Way back in the day i used to go swift boots and like double long sword on garen and it turns you into a teemo killing machine. Not sure if i would suggest that because getting mercs or tabi is just so good and helps you deal with more things then just teemo and being able to kill your lane doesn't win games really. It can, but its more about what you do with the gold you get off kills. You can trade into teemo though, because of his blind he will always out trade AD characters, so when you decide to fight teemo it basically needs to be a all or nothing kid of deal, jump on him get blinded take like half your hp and then chase him down. Some characters have more counter play like fiora can riposte his blind for instance, but don't EVER give teemo free autos. In low elo teemos will throw blind all the time at you like idiots, in higher elo they will just auto you so also don't try to walk up and let him hit you to get him to waste blind. Good temos won't through blind unless you're going in on them and they will old blind until you're close not just when you start walking at him.

I think there needs to be a way to detach Yuumi from champions (other than killing them), similar to how you can dismount Kled. That would certainly make her harder to play.
After they got the baron it seemed like his team didn't want to fully use it to siege the lanes. Nobody collected top lane until they chased Zed through the Jungle. Vayne didn't need to do Dragon as Lillia was pathing there. They had the baron buff for over a minute until somebody finally went top.

what are your thoughts on stridebreaker without dash? so far it feels like it's a useless item with good stats, and eventually the mythic passive become nice for roaming and flanking. regardless of my champ in range matchups i rather go for galeforce or claw and compensate the lack of defensive stats on that first item with a tank item second like deadman or force of nature. sometimes on garen i get youmuu first and choose my mythic later, most of the time it's stridebreaker, triforce or chemtank.
Would it be possible to remake this video with someone who isn't as tanky or have good wave clear as garen? I personally main either camille or jax, both are somewhat squishy assassins/divers rather than juggernauts. When I play against teemo I get harrassed constantly and never seem to have enough health to go for all ins.
I read somewhere that you shouldn't take an inhib before the 17 minute mark as the experience and gold from super minions will give the opposing team a significant advantage: assuming they know how to freeze/have proper lane management.
Rule of thumb after baron spawns. Lower Elo it's okay to wait longer. Higher Elo can take sooner because they can actually leverage the inhib for value.

Using bushes can be deadly, sometimes eliminates the need for flash entirely. In low elo peoples will still walk up to ward it or face check, then you just run at them.
The graves kill wasnt because you didnt w. The graves kill was because u fought Zed like u were bronze. Neace says go in and im thinking you should be walking past gromp and threatening your q. Walk up auto the zed, q when he uses his skill dies before death mark and ur healthier. Or just dont be there and when you take a jungle camp, your not being friends like Neace says. You are taking gold from them, expect retaliation, and be ahead of it. Leverage your cool downs, Garen is a very in and out champion. His cds become low and his regen from passive make him able to do this.
I don't get why people have so many issues with laning against teemo. He is such a bad champ and most top laners crush him. I play wukong and just like this wait till level 4 then E W Q on his head then ignite him flash if I have too. Most of the time I can get him to blind my clone instead of me. Literally the easiest top matchup of my life. Warwick top however is basically unplayable.
Everytime i see his blind dart flying i parry which slows both his attacks and his movement. then run him down. usually i dont even need ult. I know he isnt stunned for the parry, but the slow and attack speed debuff is scary enough and while his blind is on CD u can get off your E and Q without the blinds damage mitigation. After that you could back off into a bush or kill him if hes not able to kite u out. This all given i know where his shrooms are and he doesnt kite me into them within less then 3 seconds. Not a Fiora main tho, only like 50 games on her. I play only melee toplaners and dealing with ranged is in general easy: CS as much as you can without taking unnessecary dmg, keeping u over 80% hp, and once the ranged missteps or is too overconfident i go for the kill. Simple: Ranged Wincondition: Wittle you down with range autos Melee: All in with 90% hp and flatout stop the ranged It comes down how good you are at avoiding unnessesary harass. Or you are passive and outscale them hard, except if you got a vayne, then you are fucked. :-D
@@KoogieWaffle Glad to be helpful. In my experience dealing with teemos is most easy unless you are playing nasus or tryndamere. There are other ranged that are much mor dangerous, namely such wich are ranged AND have very good all ins. Gnar, Urgot in specific, but gnar is much easier to outplay then urgot comparatively. But for Fiora urgot is easier give you can parry his E, which fuks him totally.
if the only time this guy is allowed to kill teemo is when his flash is up then wouldnt he lose more by playing so safe he doesnt get any gold for the 5 mins his flash isnt up?
Playing against teemo with a melee champ is a patience game . A good teemo will never let you farm that easily, he will be poking the hell out of you . The flash play is to kill him fast so you can farm a lot much better and have some advantage .

I'm pretty sure you're right and that's not just the garen matchup. That's like 90% of the melee top matchups.

At 18:58, he couldn't have used his Q first because it timed out while he was running after Zed. No misplay there.

A good teemo will blind you during E and you’ll miss out on all your damage, but yeah that combo works on most

if the only time this guy is allowed to kill teemo is when his flash is up then wouldnt he lose more by playing so safe he doesnt get any gold for the 5 mins his flash isnt up?
Playing against teemo with a melee champ is a patience game . A good teemo will never let you farm that easily, he will be poking the hell out of you . The flash play is to kill him fast so you can farm a lot much better and have some advantage .
