    This dude was obsessed with triggering every Urgot leg during the spin lol.
    That's a good lesson to keep in mind for any Urgot matchup, a very large portion of his DPS is from triggering leg after leg, if you can stay on one side he's weak.

    • @MrL1193
      @MrL1193 3 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      I think he was moving around like that to try to dodge Urgot's E. If he flips you, he'll easily hit you with a bunch of the legs anyway, and you'll be even worse off for getting stunned. It's tricky to find that balance between moving enough to dodge the E but not so much that you give him leg shots for free.

    I had SO MUCH FUN with full movespeed Garen. Stride, Black Cleaver, Deadman's and Force of Nature. The enemies didn't have a clue what to do against me, so when they turn their attention to my team, I kill their carries. If they turn on me, I run away like the wind. Almost never die, most damage on the team consistently.

    • @TheDahaka1
      @TheDahaka1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@alexhollien2761 Not sure if it's still relevant after a year, but Conqueror, Triumph, Tenacity, Coup de Grace, and then resolve, like second wind/demolish and overgrowth.
      It's important to be strong in lane, because even if you don't get kills, you have to farm almost perfectly, so I always go for enough damage to get the whole wave with spin + stridebreaker. Your opponent is scared of you, so you destroy the wave and then run around until the next wave comes. It's like a midlane strategy, but you do it from top, helping the midlane and the jungle, taking control of half a map for laning phase.
      If your opponent freezes, it's almost better, bacause you can roam a lot more, get kills and pressure, and then run back top at super speed to get the next wave if they push, realising the mistake they've made.
      Items: Stridebreaker, Berserker greaves, and then these three (Mortal Reminder, Force of Nature, Deadman's plate) depending on the situation which ones to take first first. Last item Youmuus, or second if you are really fed.
      If you feel confident in beating your lane opponent, instead of resolve you can take Celerity and Waterwalking and roam even faster XD
      Hope this helps. I love Garen even if my favourite champions are all extremely complicated. Maybe that's why XD

      Dodge his q, be aggressive early on, try to zone him off. Take ignite and boneplating and/or second wind. Dink him over time, your passive has good sustain. His q heal isn’t the greatest early on. Buy executioners or bramble early on if you want. Let him push if you fall behind. Ask for ganks. I’m in silver so the players aren’t the best, but I’ve had good fights against lots of Darius players recently. Hope this helps

      I've won more games with tri force than I have with Stridebreaker lately, it depends on the enemy team comp tho, more kiting then you need the dash

      These kind of coachings sessions are a lot more about game reading and adaptability than game knowledge. He was really responsive and quick to catch on, but he was still slow on the decisions and he made a lot of mistakes (like prancing on the Scuttler's vision circle while roaming mid). He would have probably learned all this stuff on his own, because he's smart, but this kind of teaching speeds up the process more than you think.

    Contrary for popular belief because Garen is easy to play, most players think that Garen is a spin to win champ! they think silencing them then spin is all they need to do to win the trade 😆 but Garen needs to be played smart and sometimes auto-Q-E is not the ideal combo! I’ve seen a lot of Garen always looking to land the Q first before E even in range match up! Against champs like Fiora or Jax or range matchup you can go for auto-E then press Q(or Auto-Q against Jax and Fiora to bait there parry) to hide the Q animation while spinning and get that MS buff then silence them and you can sneak one auto then back(W is optional) even if the trade is equal you still win because you will recover HP over time.
    Seriously I just don’t get how the minds of some player works! Garen is already a noob friendly champ, easy and straight forward kit, strong sustain, tanky and can deal a lot of damage , and yet still having a 2-9 KDA😆😆😆 in my opinion! Players that can’t play Garen shouldn’t play League at all! the game isn’t for them! Because all you have to think about and do while playing Garen is the game itself, you don’t have to think about mechanics and all of that advance shits because Garen is so easy to play,there’s no mechanics needed to play him,all they have to do is play smart, manage the wave and have good macro.
