Installed the Legend Suspension Aero Shocks on my 2012 Road King 51,000 miles ago and still loving the system. Besides being a great conversation starter, having the ability to lower the bike on the fly, especially for backing up, has made it possible for me (I'm a 5'3" Grandma!) to safely and easily manuver that 800+ pounds. So satisfied that I will be installing the same system on my 2021 Street Glide.
The factory air lines should not be used with this system cause the lines are not strong enough for the pressure needed in the Legend Aero shock , thats why they come with line.
I am looking at the Legend Air shocks, but I notice this video is from 2014, six years ago. Is this Air shock still recommended? Has the shock been upgraded over the past 6 years?
Do the Legend Aero-A shocks lower the bike enough to use a center stand? Watching the videos I can find online, it doesn’t seem to drop that much. I have had a back surgery and already ordered them for my 2018 Ultra Limited, along with Legend Axeos for the front, for the increased comfort and performance, I am just curious about whether or not I can run a center stand.
Just called to speak to a gear head. Got to different people on the phone and both of them told me you don't have parts for Harley Davidsons. Thanks for the video but that kind of customer service is unacceptable. Y"all need to fix it.
While we do have many aftermarket parts for Harley-Davidsons, only Harley dealers can sell OEM Harley parts. Since we aren't a dealership selling bikes, we don't have access to those OEM parts. We do apologize for the inconvenience. -DrewZilla
Something like an aerosport bag over design, problem with this design is the bag is rubbing up and down over the metal dome and will wear quicker then a shock over designed bag.
Skeptical, i know a lot of people have issues with air-leaks and the rubber on these will wear out. Also you have another source of potential problems; the compressor. This stuff will be expensive to fix when it wears out. Think I'll stick to progressives.
This comes from Legend directly: _"There isn’t a set weight limit for the shocks. We recommend no more weight used with our shocks than what Harley recommends as the max vehicle gross weight. However, our shocks will handle loads heavier than this in most situations."_ Hope this helps! -DrewZilla
Legend doesn't specify the collapsed height exactly. Instead, they say that the shocks can lower seat height up to 3 inches. So as 13" shocks, collapsed height would be about 10". -DrewZilla

The shocks have a max height of 13 inches, so if your stock suspension is 13 inches, then that's your limit. If you stock suspension is 12 inches, then you'll gain one inch of extra height adjustment. -DrewZilla

No, you generally don't need to change your kickstand unless you plan on considerably lowering the ride height when parked. -DrewZilla

Air shocks give the best comfort, but these are definitely the smoothest ride you'll get out of a coil shock!

has the air kit ability to lift the bike higher than the stock suspension

Pretty much any cruiser that's not 'Murican. Generally applied to Japanese cruisers which tend to look very American hence the distinction.
