I appreciate you going over how to install the air hose into the fitting. After 4 years and 18K miles, I have to replace the Legend air compressor on my '16 FLXHS. Since I had the dealership install the suspension when I bought the bike new, I wasn't sure how to install/remove the air hose(s); thankfully this video had a quick clip on how the air fittings worked (13:45). This makes my future install seem less intimidating and also makes me regret (just little bit) paying the dealership do something I could have tackled my self -- life lesson learned. 🤙 Mahalo (Thank You) for this video.
I don't recommend legend air ride at all on your S/ST. compressor is way too slow unless you want to add a air tank on the side of your ride. also you'll need to find the sweet spot on the air ride for every type of roads or else you'll feel every bump and dips.
Great video! Makes me want to do this to my bike ASAP. Unfortunately I think they need to somehow relocate the dampening adjustment switch to the outside somehow. It’s kind of a pain in the ... to have to take off the seat and then make the adjustment and then put the seat back on.
It would be good to see you fit an electric center stand on this now!! Awesome vid, helps a lot as I have this bike and seriously considering the Legend suspension
Any thoughts on changing out airline from 5/32" to 1/4" airline. 5/32" DOT fittings aren't that common and it doesn't appear that Legend uses DOT fittings in their kit. Plus I feel like the bags may air up quicker with a larger line feeding more volume.
Hi Patrick I notice you're using that flat jack to support the bike and it doesn't look like you're jacking it up that high, I also noticed you didn't jack up the rear tire. I guess you don't need to jack it up too high to remove the shocks. Love your videos
I have a 2021 Harley Davidson low rider s , do you know which Legend Suspension Air kit I would buy for my motorcycle? This is a great video I hope you can post an install on my year of low rider S. Nice channel .
so just did this install today and the compressor just leaks air, redid the air hose, 90 degree cut and still nothing. airbag inflates and deflates just as fast, anyone got any tips?
It does not have a reservoir so anything pump on shock is gonna take a bit to inflate.. plus its a bike you cant throw a huge compressor in there with out it being all out in the open and ugly.
Good video! 2 questions, how long does this typically last? And can you lower it with almost no air and adjust the preload and ride like that? Or do you need to air it all the way in order to ride?
The system holds air for a long time, if you were to park your bike for weeks/months it would bleed down a bit. Yes you can dump all the air out and ride it, it will be a rough ride and tough on the bike. Leave a bit in.

Awesome video I just watched clips of it for about 3 hours and my bags are officially done and functioning I'm really stoked thanks a lot
Answered my question .. I have to take off my rack and seat to adjust the dampener .. just don’t drop a seat bolt while you’re doing it .
Thank you for this video! Made my life much easier installing the air suspension on my FXLRST. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!
What did u buy?? Im looking around for my 22 lowrider s
@@beamerandmercedesthebully3111 I got the legend air ride. i don't recommend it.

@@reggiea.3487I’m looking to install as well. What would you recommend or did you change to something else?

Good instructional video. Thanks 👍
hello, can it be driven when the shock absorber is half full of air? My idea is to lower the rear end a bit and ride like that
Does this shock also allow you to lower the rear end? I'm looking to drop the rear end....

question is it posible it adjust it self just when you put the contact on and it lower when contact off?

The legend air in the website says it wont fit my 22 lowrider s…. Can i het a link for one pls?
Great explanatory video
I liked the first thumbnail
How does this one compare to the shotgun shock…?
I don’t see any fitment for the Harley Davison FXDR on the website. Do you have any recommendation for this bike.
What if I have and epa canister on mine ? Do I leave the lines just there ???

The system in this video is the same one you need for your 2021 Lowrider S. Also, the install will be nearly identical.
@@jpcycles thank you very much
You the best friend
At where does the dial read the adjustment?
there is a dot on the shock to line up the number on the dial.

This is concerning to hear as I just bought this kit. Legend buys the compressor thirds party too. Did you get it fixed and find the issue?
Try using Teflon tape.
Hi, do you know how to solve if the rear fender hits the tyre when you lower the suspension all the way Down?
solved: dont lower it all the way down.
Just wondering i just put these on my dyna. They go down very slow. Is that normal?
How many hours for the install?
How many inches did drop I have a breakout 23
lol
Great Vid!
I've had them on my 2010 SG for 2 seasons now and dislike them! I will be changing them out this winter.
What are you changing to?
@@Poptart_Az Already changed to Ohlins HD 357 3 years ago and I am still running them. A world of difference!
Whats the price range
Hi Patrick, can the switches and clamp be bought separately? If they can do you have a part number?
Great videos.. keep em coming👍
That’s amazing
I’ did the air suspension but for some reason my gas level isn’t reading now ..? Thoughts
may have unplugged when lifting the gastank
For the steep price tag on this kit, it seems like it should inflate a little quicker.
it was inflating from completely flat so it took a second.

Good job
Someone knows how much cost ???
www.jpcycles.com/product/37578/legend-suspension-air-a-adjustable-suspension
$1,650
That bike looks awesome slammed. I just can't see the money. Especially just to look good parked only.
Doesn't just help the looks, but helps the ride out tremendously!
i had airride on my bike. all for looks. was pretty pointless. one more thing to break
not worth the money , plus the life warranty isn,t what they say , charge me for repair to get mine back
I think the fat Bob should be lowered… aesthetically it’s better.
Gave it a thumbs down not because of the instruction but For what you get for your money
