My first foray into true fantasy painting. I hope I can pull it off. Let me know what you think of this project below in the comment section. LET'S GO!

As an avid fantasy dio maker, I congratulate you on a job extremely well done! I especially like your angled base which adds a lot of interest and drama!

Thanks Aaron! You obviously have a good eye for design and composition as that's exactly what I was going for in the staging of the scene.

Cool. Looking forward to future episodes. I haven't painted a fantasy figure since I was...er 17. That was in 1984ish. Perhaps I need to step out of my comfort zone!

Thanks Scott! It's certainly is intimidating.

We all need to step outside the box occasionally! 👍 It presents new challenges, requires different techniques (or variations of the ones we use already) and gives us a different perspective. Most important, it's fun and will reduce 'builders fatigue' (aka burn out!). I find something in almost all the genres but fantasy is tough. While it allows you plenty of artistic license, the range of colors and the techniques used can be very intimidating! Looking forward to seeing how you do.

Thanks. It should push my abilities and hopefully, I'll learn a few new things. 😉

SS, that Bob Ross edit was awesome! My spouse and I are both Art teachers and cracked up laughing! Thanks for taking the time to producing a great video once again!

If you don't love Bob... you're not a true artist! Thanks for taking the time to comment and watch. 😁

It's been over thirty years since I built a miniature. They sure have improved. And I bet the resin hurts a lot less than the white metal when you step on them. 🤠

Yes, some miniatures are really fantastic and 3D printing is pushing that envelope even further. Resin can do damage but not nearly as much as metal... you are correct.
