- So, I've been wanting to do a cover of "The Moon Rises" for a long time... But, every other brony in the universe who is even slightly musically inclined has already done so...
Then, one of my favorite brony musicians, The L-Train, posted his Symphonic Metal version of the song and reignited my spark!
So here it is, my vocal cover of "The Moon Rises" to the majestically terrifying metal cover by The L-Train.

i've realized some stuff past this days...
first: When the music starts, we have only the lead singer in it. For me, this represents Luna in her early days, when she had no evil in mind
second: on the rest of the music, there is the back vocal and the lead vocal. This is the transition, when Luna's mind was being corrupted
And then, in the end, when the word "Begun" is said, we can hear only the back vocal, this represents the birth of Nightmare Moon and Luna's complete corruption.

Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I've still got three F:E songs in backlog that I will be getting out there ASAP... The shirt is a funny story... I designed the gear for a school logo, inspired by the Fallout games, which I re-used for my cutie mark (adding the electricity "S"), which I'm trying to put out there more after falling in love with F:E, and using the vault/stable door designs in so much artwork. It's several levels of pony/Fallout inception in the best kind of way... :)
I can hit it! (I think)... It was a creative decision to represent her completed descent.

I heard you perform this at the SacBronyExpo, truly amazing voice and excellent performance. This was one of my favorites along with the Fallout : Equestria songs you performed. I friggin loved this song when Ponyphonic made it originally, I friggin love this song as your version.
Also, it would appear both you and PKEmi had the ingenious idea to add a back part to represent the corruption of Nightmare Moon, which eventually overtakes the original voice. However, PKEmi didn't have the awesome metal background music that you do. :D

Oh, I found out what happened there... I didn't want to copy you too exactly, so I listened to the original Ponyphonic version (knowing I wanted to go more operatic anyway) before recording, and since he didn't have that last note, I forgot to add it. But I can do it. :D

Not to be mean or anything but up until 1:16 it kinda sounds like Kermit the Frog is singing.
