One of our dogs got very sick last night. The bad news is we had to cancel our trip to Tennessee. Since I won’t be able to visit SMKW like I wanted, I am just going to use your affiliate link to buy my birthday present from their website next month. It won’t be the same as being able to go handle everything, but this way it will help the channel. I will let you know how our little dog is doing once the vets figure it all out. QSP has some great knives. I also picked up the Parrot and for $20 it's a superb knife in d2 and g10, and all their knives have excellent fit and finish. keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.

I love my pebguin. I modded mine, sharpejijg choil is bigger now, and extended the handle, now fingers are closed to the blade 😀

I'm carrying my denim Micarta penguin, it's so nice. Interestingly it seems like the top edge of the wharnecliff is kinda sharp on the edges.

You'll like it. TRM makes some of the best quality micarta scales out there.
I have the denim micarta version (more green than blue) and I really like the little fella'. For its thirty-ish dollar price tag, I consider it to be screamin' bargain.
I've liked the Penguin since I saw the first one. And, for some reason, I still haven't bought one. I was looking forward to getting one at Blade Show but QSP wasn't there and no one was selling them. Guess I'll have to buy online. It'd be great to get one in a better steel choice, too.

The QSP Penguin isn't a good knife.. it's a great knife! the blue denim looks awesome but as does the red micarta one. Thank you for putting this again to the attention JB.
I have it in red and I agree, for what it is it's a great knife.
I've had the Denim Penguin for quite awhile and I really like it but hardly ever carry it. It's either a new knife or certain few favorites that get pocket time over the Penguin. That's gotta change.

I really like the denim one you have. Mine had too much resin and it didn't have the ridges on it. It was totally flat because of the resin. Is the red one at SMKW the linen micarta like you got?? Hopefully they will have them come the 3rd. Good review. The Penguin is a good cutter. I have a G10 model and a too much resin denim micarta model. I am assuming from the look you can feel the denim material used? Thanks for sharing the options.
