- Welcome to Ready to Run RC. If you are new to the channel. I do unboxings, reviews, and then if I like the RC, I give subscribers a chance to win their very own at the end of the month. In this video, I feature the WPL C14 RC Crawler. I talk about everything that comes included in the box, a little bit about how things work, and then I take it out and test it. Only one RC featured on the channel during the month of June 2021, will be up for a chance to win. If you want this RC to be the one that will be given away at the end of the month, then smack that like button. The RC with the most likes at the end of June, will be the RC I give away. To enter all you have to do is be a subscriber from the U.S. and comment below letting me know you want to be entered in the giveaway. I will only be picking from the comments of the video with the most likes. Please read the rules and disclaimer below. Winners will be picked completely by random using a random wheel name picker and/or a random comment picker. Sweet! I've got a couple of the wpl military trucks, and wpl d12. The wpl trucks are pretty cool, lots of upgrades available, and cheap.
I couldn't believe all the upgrades available for this truck. And yes they are not really expensive either. I can't wait to get started on this one.

Thanks Eddie! It does need work and it might take 3x's the amount of money I spent on this to get it to where it needs to be but it's always fun wrenching too.
I really liked how it actually has some suspension. I expected only a little, not so much!!
It did articulate better than I was expecting too. I think it still does need some softer suspension. I will be upgrading the shocks eventually.

Definitely some potential for this one. Really like the look, but the steering and whatever was grinding need upgraded.
Lots of potential. I am getting everything together to do the upgrades on this. It's either in the gearbox or the gears in the axles. It's getting metal everything soon so we will get rid of that noise.

It is. Servo and motor are the first things I'm doing.
What RC do you recommend for a beginner
Something of smaller scale would be a good start.
So did it start the transmission problem out of the box or on the trial ? I definitely like the looks. I guess it would be ok with a few upgrades but you said It didn't have enough power , so I'm guessing a motor to. I would like to see the video of all mods you do. Thanks again for the opportunity to win.
That part when I was first running it on that rock was the first I ran this and it did it then. A motor and metal gear transmission along with a steering servo will be the first mods. There is a lot of mods available for this truck and I plan to do most of them. I'll be doing them in a few weeks. I have to order everything first. Good luck!

Nope, I have no idea why it’s not connecting. Bad receiver, bad transmitter, dead batteries in the transmitter. Could be a number of things.

@@Vato_Loco_rc not a problem. Sometimes it happens and it’s not just you. I’ve had a few comments in there before because it thought it was a link. Nothing to worry about. I check that folder from time to time but not that often because there’s usually nothing in there being held for review so sometimes I don’t think to look in there all the time. Good you can upgrade. I never look a gift horse in the mouth.
I bought one of those but it would only skip when trying to go up anything so I sent it back
I'm putting the full metal transmission in with the 370 brushed motor. These are so cheaply made stock but theres a lot of nice metal upgrades for this one.
@@ReadytoRunRC I'm not sure but I think those RCs have axle gears and they are always skipping it is not the transmission. So buy the axle gears and it will run smooth even with the stock transmission because the skipping you are hearing is not coming from the transmission if it was it wouldn't even move because gears would grinded it's the axle gears
@@MightyistheRCGamer it could be that too. I do plan on getting the full metal axle kits front and rear. Also I am still doing the 370 motor and metal transmission upgrade because this truck really lacks power with the stock motor.
@@ReadytoRunRC I purchased one of those a long time ago and all it did was just skip it wouldn't even go over some rolled-up socks or any hills so I opened it up and the transmission was pretty good it was the rear and front gears inside the axles that constantly skip so I wanted to upgrade them and when I seen the cost I just said forget it
@@MightyistheRCGamer yeah that’s how this one is. It really struggled with any obstacle with either lack of power or that skipping. I plan on dumping a bit of money in this thing.
