It's been a little over 2 years, and we finally got a the successor to the popular DJI Mavic Air. The Mavic Air 2 is now released, and the specs are off the charts for the price. The biggest change for me is the image transmission with the new OcuSync 2.0 technology. Increased flight time, new body shape, quick shots and a camera with 4k 60fps, HDR and 48mp makes the Mavic Air the most compact, reliable and advanced flying device on the market.

That was one of the things that made it special! It was different! This was just laziness on the part of DJI's design team.
Now I know how people felt on the 70's with the Karmann Ghia!
I love the mavic air! But that damn wifi transmission just kills it!
How bad is your wifi? My mavic air's wifi works perfectly. I have even seen people get over 5 km with the original mavic air and only return because of battery. Definitely prefer the design of the original MA

Making the drones smaller and the controllers bigger 😆 That controller is huge and clumpy looking. A real eyesore

In the last 3 years I think I've spent about $20K at DJI, I think I'll wait for the weaponized version of the MA2. Abut 5 years ago a company in Austin TX armed a drone with a Taser. About 3 years ago Dallas PD used a drone with a little C4 in the trunk to blow up the guy that was shooting Police. Just think, if they developed a laser for this thing, we could have Star Wars in the park..
Can you make a video on mavic air 2 using crystal sky monitor? I dont think it fits to the new remote.
Have not found it yet, but does the Mavic Air 2 have dynamic return to home? This is a feature I really miss in the Mavic Air.
Would love to see a DJI CrystalSky and DJI Smart Controller showdown with this drone. :)

Great review - I needed to know the maximum micro SD capacity, and does the Air 2 return home automatically when it reaches halfway (distance-wise and battery wise), or do I need to keep on eye for it?
Nice review. Thumbs-up. Do you think the remote controller "device holder spring" will expand far enough to hold an iPad Mini 4? Looks pretty tight. I like to keep my iphone handy for other things whilst flying, so I love using my mini with the controller to manage my flights(Mavic 2 Pro, at the moment). Thank you!

I'm having a major issue after unboxing the Air 2.
The RC does not work properly, the right controller/joystick gives zero input.
Did all the firmware updates, and I got the app linked to the drone.
But I can't fly.. Not a great way to start after being excited for months.
For basic package, they only gives 3 low noise propellers. How this drone can fly witg 3 propellers
DJI made the right choice they used ocusync Very smart but too bad they didn't keep the same body style that would have been the icing on the cake I own the mavic 2 Zoom I'll stick with that I like my controller I don't like that controller I don't think you'll be able to use a iPad Mini but if they would have kept the same body style and had a ZOOM on it I would have bought it I will definitely say no on this one but your video was great you explained it perfectly

I had the fly more combo had it for two months sold it for 900$ because my atv stopped on me didn’t have enough to fix it so o sold the drone got it fixed and now a year later buying just the mavic air 2 and a extra battery and bought the carry bag on amazon for 25 and now I’m getting a different bike as well
Where's all the people who were denigrating the 8k camera on the Autel Evo 2 8k ?
It's the same sensor as the Mavic Air 2.
The Autel uses Sony CMOS sensor. Does anyone know who makes DJI's sensors?
I would guess it's the Sony imx586 sensor from the Samsung S20 phones

shame we can't use a VR program with it as Litchi to fly VR with goggles , which is the best and most immersive for me no problems with sunlight...It uses the Fly app not the Go 4 app as before wit the air, strange

I bought the Mavic mini about two weeks ago because of your videos thank you. My question is I’ve been flying my mini using the controller with my Apple air two tablet. So I’m guessing there’s no way I’ll be able to attach my iPad to the remote control of the Mavic air 2?
I know you’re busy but I left you a message on the last video on the dip shit that broke the lens on the Mavic mini 2 days out of the box and now the gimbal goes up and down a few times on its own and stops facing up message on my controller says gimbal stuck ?? Please help
The antenna is now hidden inside the remote control? I believe its more different to mod it for signal extensions now.

The first thing you have to have a good team to move this type of files that only the most professional use ... and as an amateur user in the end all the recreational videos are in 1080-60fr the one that does not have any drone I think as an initiation the Mavic mini and if you want a professional one, the mavic pro 2 should not be considered.
