  • Kuri Bay is a small bay exposed to winds from both the east and west. Normally, seasonal winds aren’t enough to stop us landing outside the bay, however when strong winds exist, use of the small bay area which is surrounded by high terrain is a pilots only option. The valley approach allows pilots to have a go around available to them, approaches into the bay are forbidden due to the single engine climb performance with surrounding terrain.

    ya know as you flew over the land during your approach i didn't see any rivers or lakes, how do those people get their fresh water.
