This is a quick and comprehensive rules overview. What I try to do is cover all the rules, including the latest errata at the time of recording and BGG FAQs in as short an amount of time as possible. Of course, while still trying to remain clear.

I completely agree, although I wish there was somewhat of a pause in between the cuts, for the information to have time to sink in before the next thing to be explained. 😅

This is definitely the most complicated game I ever played and probably the most intimidating. I wasn’t expecting a Borderlands board game to be so much more complicated than the actual video game

Yeah, games with movement and line of sight are usually more complicated than the by need to be. It’s a shame they didn’t follow the way some other games work to keep the rules more streamlined to focus on guns and loot :)

I played it at least once with family and it was hard keeping track of everything even though I have reread the rules several times and watched several video play throughs. Maybe it is because this is the first time I played a board game like this though. Your video on it did help though, I watched it several times and I would still catch things on repeat viewings that helped clear up things I was confused on. 😅

Best how to play I’ve found so far for this game. The manual is so terrible and I’m still having issues when playing knowing if I’m playing correct or not. I think if I get everything ironed out the game will be fun.

Surely there is only one shield slot? You mention 2 at around 9 mins, double checked and the rule book says one shield slot. Apart from that, very good video :)

The Rulebook I have downloaded says 2, one in the box says 1. Oh well.
