I'm a fatigue and Fitness expert who has uploaded 200 pushups this year on my channel. I'm over 50k as of right now, oats are really, really good at maintaining great health and consistency.
I tend to have them hot more in the winter and cold more in the summer. That you can make them cold without cooking is a real perk compared to having grits. Grits just don't make it uncooked. With soaking overnight, even steel cut oats become eatable uncooked.
@derekjolly3680 It's interesting how your preference for hot or cold oats shifts with the seasons, which makes sense as a way to adapt to the weather. Cold oats, like overnight oats, are indeed a great option for a quick, no-cook meal, especially in the summer. Soaking oats overnight softens them, making even steel-cut oats a convenient and nutritious option without needing to cook them, unlike grits, which require cooking to be palatable. Enjoying oats in various forms allows you to enjoy their benefits year-round in a way that suits your preferences and the season.
@IsabelYap-ik8hh Eating oats daily is a great habit! They’re packed with fiber, vitamins, and minerals that can support heart health, digestion, and provide sustained energy throughout the day. Just be sure to balance your diet with other nutritious foods to get a variety of nutrients. Keep up the healthy routine!
Have you tried Alpino oats, specifically the chocolate flavor? It's delicious and ready to eat without any baking required. It's the best oats I've ever had!
@LunaraMarise Eating oats can sometimes cause a quicker spike and drop in blood sugar levels due to their high carbohydrate content, making you feel hungrier sooner. This effect is more noticeable if oats are eaten alone without protein or healthy fats, as they digest faster, leading to increased hunger throughout the day. Try adding nuts, seeds, or yogurt to your oats to balance this out!

@yolandagrabowski6043 It sounds like you're having an interesting conversation about food choices! Irish oatmeal is a hearty option, and it can be a healthy part of a balanced diet. However, if you're finding that wheat noodles don't sit well with you or are looking for alternatives, there are plenty of options like whole grain pasta, quinoa, or vegetable-based noodles. Everyone's dietary needs are different, so it's great to explore what works best for you!
Holy shit, I had asthma as a kid, and I outgrew it sometime in elementary school, just realizing now it probably was cause my mom made me oatmeal everyday 🤣
@jpmcfrosty That's an awesome realization! 😄 Oatmeal is packed with nutrients that can help strengthen the immune system, so maybe your mom's daily oatmeal routine played a role in your healthier lungs! Moms know best, right? 😆

I feel more hungrier through out the day after I've started eating oats in the morning . What's the reason behind this?
