@@lunar8877 yea the comic could've used a bit more work but the cinematic universe could probably make it work. like in the comics where certain characters from the x men team up with or fight members of the avengers. such as wolverine and the hulk, or thor vs juggarnaut. Im pretty confident marvel studios can make it happen and it be successful. although the mcu avengers are going different ways , so the recasting might make it difficult but im still sure they could pull it off.

I saw The Dark Phoenix story on the 90"s X-Men cartoon. I liked it. That led me to reading the story in a trade paperback. I absolutely loved it!
Still cant belive they never made a season 2 of wolverine and the xmen after all these years i mean look at young justice. It may have only been about 4 years but still.

Gabriel AJ i expected it to flop the box office. Because trilogies with fox aren't that good nor great, with the trilogies having a bad reputation with fox, imagine what a fourth film would be. So it's kinda expected tbh.

have to say as an old x-men fan got to say Rachel Summers was outstanding as the Phoenix and her battle with Galactic was really outstanding. And when Scott and Jean found out exactly who she was and she is there standing in front of Jean and Rachel is the Phoenix and not Jean talk about a moment that was omg some great story was really written.

I recommend Amazing Fantasy (or the first series of Spider-Man). The Infinity trilogy including infinity gauntlet, infinity war, and the infinity crusade. The whole Annihilation series and annihilation saga. And watchmen. Of course there are many others but you would have to figure out what suits your likings better.....

The Phoenix Force has proven to be a strong entity of power in life I wonder how powerful the Phoenix horse will be if connected to Thanos or beyonder but I feel like bionda wouldn't let that happen due to him having so much power I think the Phoenix force is actually very special because I just like the Phoenix was very much that's all the Phoenix force is actually well was actually one of my favorite Cosmic entities

Jean’s cells has Been rearranged to the point where not even the Phoenix force can’t function properly so it looks for a new host...
That’s where Rogue comes in comes in. Jean’s broken, deformed hand reaches out to at Rogue to Pass on The Phoenix force+ the last remaining piece of her life force.
Now armed with this newfound, terrifying power, our hero has everything she needs to save the Galaxy from the ancient mutant
Rogue is now faster and stronger then she’s ever been in her entire life

No they all came after big bang, the very first one. There are now 7 iterations of marvel universe. Phoenix force came about before being bang. It's basically the one above all used the Phoenix force to create life.

I enjoy watching your videos and always hoped to see my favorite Marvel character's history of episode. With the history of Dark Phoenix I thought I'd hear his name but only heard his team mentioned once. We now have two live action Dark Phoenix stories. Each time I thought, "this is it...here we go"! Uh, nope. So can you please consider doing a Gladiator / Imperial Guard history of? That would be beyond greatly appreciated.

I really want to see the x-men brought over to the MCU and the phoenix force introduced as their are a lot of interesting storylines you can tell.On a sidenote it's weird that the pheonix at present doesn't have a host after jean rejects it zI wonder if they will introduce a new character to be it's host or are trying to distance themselves from it as it is hard to write OP characters.

WhAt do I read before dark Phoenix. I have the trade but it’s obvious loads came before it.
Just got home after watching it and I have to disagree with everyone bashing the movie. I thought this movie was very good. I thought it had everything from light hearted, violence and dark, and everything in between. And it sure as hell was better than Origins IMO. The things I didn't like is not enough Phoenix IMO, not enough showing of the power, the aliens aren't explained at all who they are, the final fight could have been longer and more climatic and more of showing the power of the Phoenix force, and that unnamed telepath was somehow able to find Jean but Xavier couldn't. That's pretty much it I think. I would give this movie a B+.
The problem I have with the movie is that the Phoenix force is it's own entity... The movie portrays it as some mental instability in jean grey and so killing her solved the problem, but that's not how it would work.
I prefer the Phoenix Force being a Cosmic Entity .
MCU is not ready for the Phoenix Force. No universe will ever be.

Hopefully MCU will in future...and it's a complex character too not very easy to demonstrate in live action movies... in animation it's easier I guess...
@Giovanni Balbosa-Mc Intosh Tbf what MCU did are kinda good in some way. You can't expect a live action to actually give the characters their peak power already, that's why "character development" exists and is very important, and this is why MCU is successful on its own. They kept the characters as human as they possibly can, with emotions, with experiences, with established history, and let them increase what they can in every movie. You can't expect Iron Man to have his nano tech in Iron Man 1, you can't expect Scarlet Witch to warp reality in Age of Ultron, you can't expect everyone to be in their peak power already, because they should go in there in a way that they healthily develop their characters. Idek why the topic "MCU nerf their characters" is the only thing people can to speak ill of the MCU. Never mind if they did, they still give the characters justice with their character developments. Couldn't care less how nerf their powers were.

She was found by The Avengers? Hmmm...maybe it's the fact that I'm 72 and my memory is failing, but I thought it was the Fantastic Four that discovered her. Maybe the Avengers gave the cocoon to Richards, because I distinctly remember that when she woke up, she was at FF headquarters and tried to ward them off telekinetically.

Jay Torrijos Agreed, and I’m curious about the idea of the Phoenix Corps as well, since apparently that does exist. If that Corps indeed exists, it would be the most Cosmic of all Cosmic corps but its members would be the loneliest since there seems to be only one for each universe ( they’re not patrolling anything, aren’t they).
