Well official the BBCTV Top Gear was canceled a few months ago. The Grand Tour will probably just be two or three shows a year now
@@frasermackenzie7275 Sadly the Zimbabwe special will be the last. They haven't closed the door on future projects, but this is the end for now.

@@wanderer397 If not now, then soon either way... the guys are getting too old for this anyhow, most of the stuff they've entertained us with is much more demanding both physically and mentally than one would suspect if one had never done similar stuff themselves.
High speed driving, high g drifting, etc... takes a lot of focus, and is a real punishment on the body (more or less depending on the activity ofc).
@@wanderer397- Yes, one more Africa special to air later this year and then that’s it.
They are open to future projects but nothing is planned. And May and Hammond might visit the farm, which is going to get another season

Im not sure where this was shot but its quite amazingly easy to a wild fire to get out of hand. I was sitting in a park in London once and dropped a cigarette on some brown dry grass, it quickly grew in size until I stamped it out.

People don't realize how heavy water actually is. 1 gallon of water weighs 8.34lbs. This plane carries 1600 gallons.
Having 6.6 tons of water dumped on an object is literally like being hit by a dump truck, due to the dynamics of waters surface tension.
And how fast the plane is flying. Even if 75% the water misses is still the same impact as being T-boned at 100MPH

Top Gear did mostly cars, a few bikes, some boats, a blimp, but never a top gear top of the world challenge. There are enough problems with manned aviation that they could have flown planes somewhere. Guess they could never get the insurance for these 3
