    While I'm not doing a round object, it did point me in the right direction.
    "Along a surface/path", and that got me my sketch to extrude a custom edge along the irregular shape

    Having 3D printed a tire tread, the OMG factor of the number of supports required on EVERY tread below the 50% mark
    RESIN printed the Toyo Open Country MT

      Emboss could definitely work too, I chose to show this method because I find it to be a little more controlled for what I am looking for at times
