  • In this video, I will show you how to design a beautiful ring using the new Emboss tool in Autodesk Fusion360. Earlier I did a video explaining how to wrap a pattern to a curved surface using fusion360 using the Sheet Metal environment, which obviously was a workaround technique to do something like that. Thanks to the new emboss feature in Fusion360, the process is much more straight forward & easy to use.

    I actually wanted to design & 3D print a ring for a very long time but never had access to a resin 3D printer to do so. Finally, I got myself an Anycubic Photon S 3D printer & also got a plant-based Resin called Esun. Do follow me on my Instagram account "@Tar1qali" to check out my 3D printed model of this ring in a day or two. I should be posting it there soon.
    Do leave a like, comment & share the video with someone who might like to see this technique to design a custom ring in Autodesk Fusion360 using the new Emboss tool.

    Can you please show how to create a pattern roller, same like the one shown but repeated pattern on z axis. I’d like to create pattern rollers for using on clay

    Thanks for the video...the trouble is that the pattern isn't perfect because when you had to choose between 17 or 18 instances in the circular pattern 17 instances left a gap, and 18 instances ended up overlapping too far. Is it possible to import an SVG and make it exactly the right size so that the start and end of the pattern match up exactly, creating a truly seamless pattern with no overlap? If so....how? I'm stuck on this on haha

    • @3DPrintingGeek
      @3DPrintingGeek  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can do that but pre planning the diameter of your circle ⭕️ & designing the pattern with such measurements,so that it’s able to loop perfectly once it’s duplicated an “X” amount of time around the diameter of the circle.

    got this issue "one or more pattern instances could not be intersected......"?

    • @3DPrintingGeek
      @3DPrintingGeek  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you get such an error, it means your patterns are intersecting each other and you need to adjust them to get rid of the intersection.
