Here in New Zealand, this setup (without the R/C) gets fitted under a chilly bin (cooler box) and ridden around, sometimes even raced! 😂 😂 Funniest thing I ever saw! Like your engineering, mate! I would add suspension and a differential with rain tyres off the karts, that have treads.... I like it! Well done, mate!!
No formal plans, I have about 600 pictures. It was something to do and to teach my 16 old kid how to TIG weld and problem solve. Never sold it, we take it out now and then and just have fun and chase cars in the parking lot. The tires are to soft to smoke, they grab pretty good on take off. I did play with the sprockets and got more top end but was to slow on the take off. Both servos are Futaba S9157 (one for steering and the other for the brakes and throttle), lots of torque.
Those that love handmade oversized RC Big Boy Toys like me wouldn’t mind building something as beautiful as this. You say you have 600 pictures of this build? Do you have a place where people can go to see them on the internet? It’s beautiful because it’s a RC car and it’s built as strong as a go kart. 👍♥️👍
Yes that thing is great. I like how simple yet well built it is. I built a giant scale buggy with a water cooled C1 pocket bike motor on it. It has been displayed on RCuniverse for years. These guys who are trolling probably do not know how to air up their own bicycle tires. Once again...Very nice Job!
For those claiming he's driving it scared, keep in mind how easy it is to spin and flip. With such a short wheel base and no weight that thing will go end over end without hesitation.
LOL..its always amazing how many TROLLS appear just to show disrespect for another persons property in these RC videos. Too bad they can't show a vid of their own.. I wonder why that is? Could it be that they spend so much of their time glued to their pc's and showing disrespect for others that they can't find the time or $$ or initiative to try it themselves? YEP!!!
Steve T not everyone has your opinion. you must be from California because you think the world should be exactly how you want it, and no one can say what they want without someone like you bursting in and getting but thirty as fuck hahaha!
the money he spent......grown ass man, should be riding something like that....I have RC planes, but always thought about Remote Controlling a old junk car to jump it off a cliff, nice idea but could of been executed lil better with gearing, removing engine governor. that thing should fly!!!!!!
Nice build! Good to see someone taking care of something they made. So much room for changes later which im sure you already have since the vid. Nevermind the young dumb people that only want to insult you or to see you break your build. I would own one in a heartbeat.
Unfortunately trolls don't just live under bridges anymore, awesome craftsmanship and thanks for sharing. Any way you might share the electronics parts list?
Double the length!! All these are setup like a square. Not many real world vehicles have there wheels at the four points of a square. Make it proportional to something. Sounds badass!!
Let the Haters Hate..... They have no life. As an experiment, it's nice. OMG that SOUND!!! Better than ANY 2 Stroke Engine I've ever heard. Sure, a 2 Stroke is going to make more power, but they all sound like Leaf Blowers. (and I'm IN 1/5 Scale Gas Buggies as my Hobby). Almost makes me want to find out if a reasonable 4 Stroke Engine like that, is available in suitable 1/5 Scale size. It may also be the Pipe, but it *almost* sounds like a small Cruiser Bike!!!
what do you use for a steering servo on something like that? I have a "1/2 scale" go kart I have been wanting to turn into an R/C car..... I heard you could use a windshield motor as the servo, but I know nothing about this stuff....
What are your plans for any type of body ? And you are dealing with so little weight, you can easily step your ratio up. What kind of plans do you have for the little kart ? Pretty Kool Kart !
Plenty of haters. I used to race dirt track go karts, similar engine, Honda gxh200 with 218 kit. No suspension, low tyre pressure. It could pull 60mph. Put heavier springs in the centrifugal so the clutch comes in at higher rpm, it will launch . You don't need suspension, an F1 car is pretty stiff and low. Scale that down you will get your suspension in chassis flex especially if you put a join in the rear crossmember.
Pretty Cool! I may do this? ,just rebuild Manco Dingo. put in a 212 cc, had fun, but back is not in good shape to ride. Maybe,? Thinking remote !on a Dingo.
Jett Rhoads Conleys are more for guys that want museum pieces. They make very little power. He's be better off finding an old 250cc 2 stroke air cooled snowmobile motor.
u should check out the losi 5t and reverse use some of that technology to add a 3 speed transmission where u can fine tune where each gear shifts just by spinning a lock screw on the gear set bolt... awesome machine tho.. largest i have is a 1/8th scale what would u say that machine is 1/3? haha good job awesome
For the love of all that is holy, LET SOME AIR OUT OF THOSE TIRES.. I KNOW you see how little of the tire is actually on the ground.. Youre not carrying any load on them.. They probably only need 5psi max.. Who knows, maybe not only will you actually make the tires last longer, but you may find out that the thing doesnt jump a foot in the air when you hit a small bump/crack in the parking lot.. HAHA!! Wouldn't hurt to have a smaller axle sprocket too.. that 5-8hp engine should move that NO PROBLEM with as little as that weighs.. It wings out way too soon.. LOL
haha nooo, I'd even have bigger sprocket to keep speeds below 40mph. thinking thats a predator 79cc? that engine in minibikes the guys are running a 56T sprocket and boy it hauls the mail very nicely engineered!
can you make a building plan? i think that manny people pay for a plan...best regarts from germany... i woud like to build this amazing RC vehicle....please make a plan with the components an tell me...
i have to admit it's really cool, but on that scale i think i'd rather build a kart i could sit in and drive. either way it's some pretty impressive scratch building. i'm sure it took a lot of work.
I think it's cool I'd strap a GoPro on the front or you can paint it green and put some fake explosives on it make it look like the RC XD from Call of Duty Black Ops
Epic rc it's his throttle finger that's sluggish. From a dead stop with the granny gearing he has on it...that honda clone should boil the tires...he's afraid of it.
this needs a Torq A Verter . CVT drive and slightly taller gearing but very nice lob on the build .. doing something similar but with a 10hp tecumsah engine . I know what you used for frame same as I am doing just stretched mine and made it wider with custom wheel spacers I am shooting for 60mph with good take off ...
+Aye Bee One thing though................I notice your testing it on a chilly day. Me, being the OCD A-hole that I am, I see you have removed the sheet metal shroud to: "aircool" the block and head. Whoooppss! This lil cart engine will not last long with a ring/bore seal on a 100F degree day. But that is just the HotRodder in me pointing out this to the guy still wearing his welders cap on test-day....................Heh-heh-heh!!!!
All these negative comments on this man's build from folks that haven't made a video of their own featuring their builds... Oh that's right....it's easy to judge what your unable to achieve! Very nice build brother
I like it!!!!!!! Did Rc cars for decades and never thought of building my own!!!!
this is the best home made rc car i have seen on youtube so far
Here in New Zealand, this setup (without the R/C) gets fitted under a chilly bin (cooler box) and ridden around, sometimes even raced! 😂 😂 Funniest thing I ever saw! Like your engineering, mate! I would add suspension and a differential with rain tyres off the karts, that have treads.... I like it! Well done, mate!!
The exhaust sounds awesome, great job man!
This is great!! Sounds good too. Congratulations on this. Really cool to watch.
It's a wonderful sound
four stroke will do that

where does one have to go to get access to these photos?

sounds amazing my man. great build, she is a beauty !!!
Yes that thing is great. I like how simple yet well built it is. I built a giant scale buggy with a water cooled C1 pocket bike motor on it. It has been displayed on RCuniverse for years. Nice build. Looks like fun to operate.
Dudes homemade Rc. And poppy 4 cycle at that! Very cool man and nice work!
I'm a couple of years late but dude what a beautiful truck ! Sounds amazing 😍
that is so rad! you did such a good job on it!!!!
Ohhhh I would love to see that with low profile tires with cool chrome rimes and an old school Volkswagen bug body would look soooo cool!!!
That's awesome. If your ever doing suggestions, I think it would be awesome to do one with off road tires and suspension. Just a thought.
For those claiming he's driving it scared, keep in mind how easy it is to spin and flip. With such a short wheel base and no weight that thing will go end over end without hesitation.
Awesome sound ! Great work !!! :)
That sounds awesome,nice car,sounds well beefy,nice job
Бомба! Вот что нужно с сыном собрать!
That is friggin awesome boys kool big thumbs up!
Awesome Fabrication Skillz!!!! Bad ass!!!!
LOL..its always amazing how many TROLLS appear just to show disrespect for another persons property in these RC videos. Too bad they can't show a vid of their own.. I wonder why that is? Same here. Some people just don't appreciate the work that some hobbyists put into their cars.
Steve T not everyone has your opinion. you must be from California because you think the world should be exactly how you want it, and no one can say what they want without someone like you bursting in and getting but thirty as fuck hahaha!
Steve T everywhere, even if you block them. It makes TH-cam a bit more challenging.
the money he spent......grown ass man, should be riding something like that....I have RC planes, but always thought about Remote Controlling a old junk car to jump it off a cliff, nice idea but could of been executed lil better with gearing, removing engine governor. that thing should fly!!!!!!
Ain't that the truth! Looks and runs great. Small steps..
the exhaust sound is sweet! Nice car...like go kart.
Fricking COOL!
Nice build! Good to see someone taking care of something they made. So much room for changes later which im sure you already have since the vid. Nevermind the young dumb people that only want to insult you or to see you break your build. I would own one in a heartbeat.
for all that have asked its a bar stool racer frame .
Unfortunately trolls don't just live under bridges anymore, awesome craftsmanship and thanks for sharing. Any way you might share the electronics parts list?
just playing with ya , its a very built well , well done , i give you a A- sereously good job, take care
Double the length!!
All these are setup like a square.
Not many real world vehicles have there wheels at the four points of a square.
Make it proportional to something.
Sounds badass!!
These huge RC vehicles gives me an idea for a RC Push Mower, a lazy way to cut grass while sitting in the shade on a hot day. 😂

It may also be the Pipe, but it *almost* sounds like a small Cruiser Bike!!!
Cool car, I think it is slightly bouncy, but looks like a lot of fun.
mate a trailer u can sit in and have it drive u around
Kyle Pree hell ya buddy!!! Who needs fast when you car tow yourself along with it
Love thy way it sound good job
Have to say, love the way it sounds......
That is very cool ,i want one
If it's fun, and you enjoy, it's worth every cent!
what do you use for a steering servo on something like that? I have a "1/2 scale" go kart I have been wanting to turn into an R/C car..... I heard you could use a windshield motor as the servo, but I know nothing about this stuff....
Should lower the gear ratio if you can to something like 1:3 should be fine as it's not really carrying any weight?
Do you have an ultra flimsy lexan body picked out for that thing yet?...awesome build by the way.
Great concept. Needs some refining though...suspension and a cvt setup would really wake the thing up.
The go-kart style model is very nice and fun to drive in a square. I would like to buy it, but I would not live in the U.S. :(
What are your plans for any type of body ?
And you are dealing with so little weight, you can easily step your ratio up.
What kind of plans do you have for the little kart ?
Pretty Kool Kart !
Pretty damn cool but does it have a body cover
This thing is awesome. If it had a small sprocket on the back it would be very fast.
I'd pull myself about with that
its cool af

I wonder what control system do use what kind of servos do you use plz tell me I'm looking to building one of these
Did u find out wich u should use?
@@vamperspective3332 never got forward with the project
that is so awsome whats ur prices on them
Que chevere quedo pero mi pregunta es como frena
super good job m8, how about higher "buggy"wheels as a offroad version, think that type of engine would love it.. just an ide;) MaxDK
Sweet engine sound.
Pretty Cool! I may do this? ,just rebuild Manco Dingo. put in a 212 cc, had fun, but back is not in good shape to ride. Maybe,? Thinking remote !on a Dingo.
What kind of motor is that pipe makes it sound good
Do you have the pictures uploaded anywhere? This is such an awesome project.
This is dope how fast does it go? What the max speed
sounds great
Put a Conley V8 in it!! That would be super cool, but it looks good props to you man
Jett Rhoads Conleys are more for guys that want museum pieces. They make very little power. He's be better off finding an old 250cc 2 stroke air cooled snowmobile motor.
Nice, but it needs some taller gears. Kinda slow.
Cool build!
u should check out the losi 5t and reverse use some of that technology to add a 3 speed transmission where u can fine tune where each gear shifts just by spinning a lock screw on the gear set bolt... awesome machine tho.. largest i have is a 1/8th scale what would u say that machine is 1/3? haha good job awesome
That is cool!
Nice, well made. Where can I get an already made frame similar to this?
Lookup 1/5 scale rc. Probably the closest thing you're gonna find stock
@@christhut8140 thanks
think you should do sail boats with the elderly, at the pond
Is a suspension in it's future ???
could you put up a slideshow of some of the 600 pictures? :)
What kind of steering servo and throttle servo do you have on it? im trying to build one myself
will there be a part 6 with a speed run
would be awesome to see it with a 2 stage trans in it. would probably haul ass

a nice power wheels body and it'd be pretty cool
haha nooo, I'd even have bigger sprocket to keep speeds below 40mph. thinking thats a predator 79cc? that engine in minibikes the guys are running a 56T sprocket and boy it hauls the mail
very nicely engineered!
pds tech that sprocket he has on is like a 70-80 tooth probably on goes 30 mph by the looks of it
pds tech looks like a gx160
Would be cool to put this around a gokart track.
Did you make that vehicle yourself? If not, where can we buy one?
great job patient sell it and mass produce it love how it sounds
its been a while since you posted this video, but i was wondering, did you ever make building plans on this bad boy? would love to make one of my own.
You need to do a close up and how you builded it man
COOL TOY MAN I BET YOU CAN DO ALOT WITH THAT. I WOULD PULL MY DAUGHTER.
can you make a building plan? i think that manny people pay for a plan...best regarts from germany...
i woud like to build this amazing RC vehicle....please make a plan with the components an tell me...
Jörg Ehrich it's a bar stool racer. just add servos etc..
Where do you get wheels and tires like that?!
i have to admit it's really cool, but on that scale i think i'd rather build a kart i could sit in and drive. either way it's some pretty impressive scratch building. i'm sure it took a lot of work.

That thing is awesome !
Why so many negative comments? Leave the man alone. Atleast he has one.
sounds cool and also cool engineering but kinda slugish ...... yay brushless is best big boy. still big thumbs up man.
Epic rc it's his throttle finger that's sluggish. From a dead stop with the granny gearing he has on it...that honda clone should boil the tires...he's afraid of it.
Kudos for not showin butt-crack on starter pull!!
I want to buy it. I have seen it up for sale for $750 and I am very interested in it at that price. Please respond to me.

why on/off/on/off/on/off with the throttle??? its not a pump
anyway... cool build... simple yet effective
Man this people have skills and they not using it ,,,let me but my brain in your RC and make you millionaire
what motor did you used
Cool idea but,id put a bigger 2 stroke engine in it to get WAY more power

hey I'm interested in buying the RC. What would be the best way to contact you about it? thanks
Needs a CVT transmission.
Cool Project - Shame It Dont Have Suspension
Drive that shit, man!
You could do the same shit with a Toys R Us car for a lot less!
Super Cool
Is that a bike motor on a rc ?
how long does a tank last ?
