That is next level. WOW! Thanks for sharing this. I've never seen anything like this on this scale. My friends think I know a lot about rc and I feel like my eyes were just opened for the first time. Super cool!
These black dudes are the reason why these kids need fathers in their lives. We should all be having fun and teaching our kids awesome things like this. Instead of running around on the streets you can have a hobby and meet people doing something incredibly fun. These guys are all so awesome
@Amtcboy I hate how a lot of people make it sound like black men don't even want to be Father's. A lot of times it's because they have very spiteful evil baby moms. I'm half native and half Polish. Even though I had to deal with that crap with my son. Thankfully I got his spiteful evil mom out of the picture. No matter what it takes seeing a father spending good quality time with their children is the most important thing ever. This is how we build a foundation to make the next-generation even better. Something as simple as getting into RC drag racing or whatever you want to do whether it's horseback riding, going fishing and camping so many different things and so many different Hobbies build a strong foundation between the parent and the child and gives them a sense of Pride and responsibility that helped Elevate them through life.
I did R/C racing both on road and off road back in the 80s.This is the first time seeing this! Absolutely incredible! What I did notice is one thing hasn't changed, all ages of racers and friendships.
One thing I learned is that if you liked remote control cars as a boy, you like them as a man. You won't find me playing with the GI Joe at my age but you'll find me out with my Traxxas Sport.
I got into racing short course trucks at a local dirt/outdoor track years ago and gotta say the RC community is filled with some the coolest most welcoming people I've ever met.
Never seen this before. Always loved RC stuff, but didn't know there was Drag Racing of this type. This is next level! Love it!! And the people are top notch.
As soon as I learn what I have I'm moving up into drag racing I'm learning to crawl first then I'll run love the hobby so much thank you for your utube channel

That was so cool! I love this! So many people from so many places coming togther for some great fun! Watching from out there in the Central Valley of California.
Gonna be honest, never knew so many black folk were into rc top fuel dragsters. Lmao. But this is the shit that I like to see, not hearing about young brothers out in the streets shooting each other over some petty beef or a street corner, and some colored bandana’s. Hopefully more of the younger generation can get into hobbies like this
Im from Maryland and i have a dragster but its old lol im 40 now so its been a while but i would love to get my 15 year old boy into doing this. I spent a lot of childhood at 75-80 my mother had a pinto tubed out with a 302 that ran 11's at the track. now she has a 70 chevelle 454 ls6 and in the 25 years she has had it, its never been to the track. i miss that old way of life and your video brought back a lot of good memories. who knows maybe one day ill get the old RC out and dust it off lol
Hey Chris. That's cool and thank you for the kind words. I live in Maryland also. What part are you from? There a lot of old dragsters that run. Bring it out. I will help out anyway I can. Unfortunately the onroad season has come to an end but we could link up some time and get yours running. I'm 45 and been in the race scene also. I have a 67 Lemans w a 454 in it. You can email me at crucial118@yahoo.com
Great! Not all engineers but all enthusiasts. None of these cars are raced right out the box. All take a little modifications to be able to achieve these times. Thanks for watching
Congratulations lance wow extraordinary number of views mate. Hard work pays off sorry had a break from the rc world. Now I'm catching up on what everyone has been up to. Great video brother I'm happy for you. 👌
This is so cool. I had a COX Dragster (string line) as a child, but his is awsome! The drivers should pull that mat back out from under the wheelie bar!
I had Ford GT. Let dad fire it off till got old enough not to be scared of it. That sucker would MOVE!! Clocked at 0- 45MPH on 125' string! oh the days. 😐
This video is only qualifier races. People are not always going their fastest. It's all about getting a time for the next days ladder head to head races. Yes there are approximately 8 different classes.
The race @28:00 then the slow mo replay! If you listen close to the car in the near lane it actually has the cadence and cackle of a real top fuel car at idle. You can literally watch the car go into tire shake like the real deal. Then the Pro Mod 57 Wheelstand. Not too mention being held at the home of the super bowl of no prep. Nitro Funny Car @20:16. Love the NASCAR Track in the background too BTW. @Just too FU*%ING COOL all over!
Stay tuned to the channel. I post all events in my community. There are club races in Chicago, St Louis, Philly, NC, and Puerto Rico. Hopefully you live near one of these locations. We're hoping to gain interest in more states so this can grow even more!
This is absolutely insane! I've only owned a rock crawler rc. I can't imagine messing with this stuff. They have more power than a go-cart it seem like 😂
I always wanted to get into rc on this scale as a kid but just never knew the right people to teach me the trade, as a teen I had decent money to throw down too so that wouldn't of been a problem.
I have no connection to this hobby, just a casual curiosity, but this was so enjoyable; the whole thing is oozing dedication, craftsmanship, passion and community spirit. Loved it.
I used to race gas powered cars back in the late 60's and early 70's in Tustin, CA. We called it Larwin Square International Raceway. We ran them down lines and had a starting tree and trip lines at the end. We used to drill out the ports on the little Cox engines and used model car bodies on custom built chassis. Lots of fun for us kids at the time! I ran a Volkswagen Van.
That's cool stuff man. I enjoyed watching it. I was waiting someone to knock the bark off that tree down there on the right. Some good drivers in the crowd. Y'all take care.
Thank you. Oh it happened on day 1 with a dragster that was racing against me. I had a small block and him a big block. That tree has seen a few faces of these RC cars.
This is wild I didn't even know RC drag racing was a thing. I grew up RC'ing oval track/dirt tracks in the early 90s. Looks like a good time. You got a new sub.

Sadly, I think nitro is pretty much dying vs electric.. I've legitimately been flying and driving r/c everything for the most part of 42 years (I'm 50).. The smell of burned notro will always put a smile on my face.. However, even being around seriously with r/c helis and "big birds" in the early to mid 2000's, when 72 Mhz znd 35 literally disappeard and electric helis were once just a personal hobby for a few.. Nothing can compare to the output an electric motor with a good "batter" can achieve.. Its probably just a matter of time until the batteries give way to Top Fuel NHORA record sweeps..
Nothing wrong with electric cars and they have their own class. Believe me they are fast. The electrics were breaking records down here also. Thanks for the comment👍🏼
That is next level. WOW! Thanks for sharing this. I've never seen anything like this on this scale. My friends think I know a lot about rc and I feel like my eyes were just opened for the first time. Super cool!

@@CrucialRC Yeah! I had the same reaction, totally new to me. Is it regional to Baltimore? Really impressive! Thank you for posting!

@@derjoh1986 Utah, we have pretty healthy crawler and basher communities but nothing like that. I only know one person with a Primal nitro dragster.

@CrucialRC absolutely. If you get your kids into hobbies it gives them something to do and like minded people to be involved with.

Beside the racing being extremely fast, the community of people at this event seems amazing.
Couldn't agree more!
@@CrucialRC I saw this was in Billsville, aka Williamstown, Are there other tracks in NJ or close to philly ?
