UPS just delivered my Ouroboros! My DeathAdder was showing signs of failure. Improper clicks made things difficult.
The Ouroboros is a beautiful piece of hardware. Only had it for 30 minutes but I am totally pleased and now the price does not seem so steep. Love it!
I leave the grip on the left and the glide thing on my right to stop my pinky from scraping the surface.
There's one 2 guys said it has build quality issues on this comment section,and my friend who happened to own a ouroborus seems to have problem too,so I would suggest you buy Naga epic or Mamba
I've had the Ouroboros for about three months now, and i love it! Sure it gets annoying when you want to unplug the chord from wired to wireless because the mouse was dying from gaming or use and when sticking the chord back into the wireless port it wouldn't detect the lasers when in wireless without restart, (if any of that made sense...) But overall, i enjoyed paying $160 CAD for this mouse and i like the feeling of it and the easy adjustment, i also use the Razer Vespula with it :)
I bought from Altex Romania a mouse Razer Ouroboros on 2016-05-17 on company name. When the mouse came I tried it in the hand and observed that there is a space in-between the mouse and the arch of my hand. The hand can not rest on the mouse. This gave me a sore hand and the hand hurt. So I decided to return the mouse to Altex Romania for a refund. Unfortunately they denied the refund because I bought the mouse by company and not as a person. Can you help? Thank you!
Same here. Also, those switches underneath are for locking the side-panel-button, not the side buttons.
would it ruin the battery to use it as a wired mouse most of the time and only go wireless in specific situations like sitting back to watch a movie or something?

Does it work with USB connection AND w/o battery inserted? Or is the batt necessary for weight/ or power supply? I don't like wireless mice, that's the reason i'm still using my Diamondback/Deathadder, but this custom style looks nice. :)
can you directly wirelessly connect it to a razer blade? without the usb being plugged in?
Why is my Ouroboros doesn't have any screws at the rear panel? I just push on the bottom of the rear panel to detach. Is it old version of Razer Ouroboros?

this is seriously the coolest mouse I have ever seen
The Asian version has a lot more than just 3 settings for the length, I think it's about 5 or 6. Also, if you put the wing panel on the left side of the mouse and the grip panel on the right side of it, it becomes a pretty specialized right-handed mouse, albeit you need to grip it in a slightly slanted manner.
mine has stopped charging and once in wired mode it takes 10 minutes for the mouse to start working
What are the screws about ? I have the mice, but the tail is sliding out by pressing the release button....no scre drive included

Are you in US? At least the latest us version has the screws but at least EU version doesn't.
mine laggs all the time and it gets rid of all the custom options. ( worked at first, but now im sad to say that i regret buying it a little ) i hope i can find a way to fix it
you forgot to mention that the switch bitween cable and wireless mode only works without probs when synapse bugware isnt on. i´m very disapointed since synapse came out... cause i´m only using razer gear

Hello. I've noticed on the mouse in the video, they have moved together the dual sensor system on the underside of the mouse into one spot. On my Ouroboros there are two separate sensors opposite each other. Does anyone know which one of them is the newer model?
I own both this and the Deathadder. Deathadder is still the king IMO :D

My ouroboros wireless function stopped working after 4months :( and I didn't get insurance from bestbuy at the time. I was willing to pay them to fix my mouse but apparently bestbuy is not the place. It has been 1 and a half yr since I bought it and I still desire to get it fixed. Hope Razer has something to say.
P/s : charging doc still lights up and charges when I put it on but won't connect to the mouse somehow. Mouse was in perfect condition when is wired
damn...mine doesn't have the screws at the bottom. had to use blutack to stop the slight wobble. glad they fixed it though. Great mouse all in all.

Zed, the master of shadows 〈3 RAZER Vespula Dual-Sided Gaming Mouse Mat!!!!! STEEL SERIES SUCKS!!! trust me the razer mouse pad has been the best one i have had a few steelseries mouse mats and I am not a fan. And this is coming from a guy that is not a big razer fan either. I made my own side grips for this mouse because the ones razer made are lame. But the mouse overall is pretty legit made a good replacement when my rat 9 died. and I honestly prefer this over the rat now. at first it was hard but i like this mouse much better now.
Did they secretly update the ouroboros? Mine doesn't have that screw system.

ok, so i went and tried to find out what was wrong with it. and i found that none of razers answers didnt work, so then i tried to connect the wired mode in, and it syncs the synapse settings better, but i am still trying to find out if it will fix it in wireless mode. but so far it works

I use a Logitech G700s for my mouse. You guys have yet to produce something mouse wise that will switch me over to Razer in that department. Your release of the Black Widow Ultimate Stealth 2014 got me to switch keyboards though. Just a little miffed I cannot even adjust individual keys brightness(i.e. W,A,S,D, ect.).
What I actually need is tips on how to grip the damn thing properly while using the clutch and also not having my little finger somewhere really uncomfortable. The sides of the mouse are pretty awkward to grip due to the gaps.
Still here with my ouroboros, works a charm. How come his model is different. It no longer has screws.
Anything that's customizable breaks easier. The trick is not to throw it around. If you treat your mice correctly you'll have to replace the feet a few times before it breaks. Even though scroll wheels can break pretty easily.

My biggest problem with every Razer mouse I've used is that they're tiny. I'm glad to see they've finally made a mouse for people with big hands.
thats the special edition that comes with screws and a screwdriver, only costs 200$ extra, however, it's only sold at the black market

Hey guys, i got a problem with my ouroboros. It's about my scroll. I'm using it to switch weapons in mw2, bf3 and so on. But it should react with just one scroll right ? Cuz sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't happend anything. I don't know if this is a option or just a production fail. Could anyone please respond so i know what to do ? would help me out alot ! :)

i need help!! i got my mouse a few months ago and didn't realise that the charger was inside the box. sooo i basically lost the charger. BUT my mouse suddenly stopped working and i dont know whats wrong with it. when i plug it into my computer it doesnt light up and my cursor doesnt move. i really dont know whats wrong with it ): Razer

Um mine didn't come with a screwdriver, you just push a button and the panel adjusts when you push or pull

Razer people i got mine in Qatar from Virgin Megastore and it didnt come with a screwdriver why is this?
Do not get this mouse if you're a player that is accustomed to lift up your mouse to get more comfort. I bought myself one of these and whenever i lift up the mouse, it losses control and the cursor stays still for quite some time. Also it doesn't work on most surfaces, i have a desk on which i use my orochi without the need of a mat, however, when i try to use the ouroboros. It doesn't move an inch. I had to get a specialised matt just to get it to work properly, the function to calibrate on razer synapse doesn't help at all.
