- so I say this a lot but this was one of the coolest experiences I was aloud to film. I got rented out to my buddy Joe who is co-owner of A&A Elevator. He had a pretty interesting job for me. Also beginning of this video is me removing some ice from the roof of the storage!

I have done a 25 ton lift with a 30 ton Bridge crane, it was a 24,000 hp electric motor. It was pretty scary, but cool at the same time.....LIFT IT UP
imma call bs on that. most bridge cranes have relatively small motors with gearboxes. ones at my work are rated at 26.5 tons and have maybe 100 hp motors.

Cranes are so cool! Ran one before with no experience and it’s very difficult but so much fun! If you get the chance I’d recommend!! LIFT IT UP!

Lol put it over the axles ha ha. That funny AF. As a crane operator i find it interesting that they used a dump truck to haul away the old parts. Usually we load new up and old down to the same truck that brought the new gear. Thanks for posting! Fun to watch your excitement. Would have enjoyed some close ups of the crane.

Been watching for your videos for a short period now, and ive gotta say theyre well made and great! I do plowing with a new Volvo L70g in Finland, but this winter has been the worst of all time. 4 times we've been plowing snow this winter, approx 50 hours total, last winter was 256h between Jan-Feb. Would love to come and try working in your conditions! Anyways keep up the work!

4 day school and about 40 hours on a crane and you can take the test to become an operator here, damn its strict over there lol.

@@KenWhiteConstruction my bad, 160 hour running a crane at a company before taking the test. but can run it way longer if you just have taken the school first before take the test. dont think its any size restriction. but you gotta be crazy putting a rookie in a 500 tonne crane lol

if the price is right, in canadian dollars and the elevator is just steel you should be able to collect about , 6 metric tons = 20 to 26 thousand dollars.
i feel like i might be way off the scales.
Grade A steel is 110$/metric ton
