I still want to remind people that Southampton had that terrible season in the Prem and they still managed to get a 3-3 draw away against Arsenal when the Gunners had started bottling the league. We scored 3 against them at home - I just have that feeling that we’re gonna get some away points somewhere along the way that people don’t expect.
Great Pod as always guys. Agree about Ogbene I kept saying to my mate that he needs to get down the wing. Use that pace. Get in the Box & maybe get a Pen like Fred is good at. Also great for Bezza to score. Top performance by Pelly. Mengi. Burke. Kaminski once again. My only concern is that we play Spurs. Arsenal & Man City away, Forest have the “easier” games so my concern is that they will get points when we don’t. We HAVE to win the Home games left if we are going to have a chance. Maybe get a point on the road at Wolves & West Ham.
Any club would appeal including us at Luton. It makes no sense not to appeal as there is nothing to lose. The nature of all appeals is that you stand a chance of getting leniency and literally never do you stand a chance of more harsh punishment. My prediction is that there will be a reduction on appeal. However it could get even messier with Everton launching a case of unequal treatment. I think it's a poor showing on due process also if the notion is put out back channel etc that an appeal could lead to a harsher punishment.
Forest appeal then they should get 6. Forget 2 points for being transparent and working with FA an appeal should be a sign of non co-operation and 2 added on. The fact they voted against funding the the EFL too. Shameless club. Berry is a legend, playoff penalty!
