Luton are 1 of the best teams ive seen at Deepdale in the last 10 years. It was the last little bit that lacked quality. I cant see how you blame the manager unless you had starmen on the bench ? We did the best we could under the circumstances and fortunately won. 2 of your players were asleep for our goal mind. Your keeper and mcguiness were class imo. You'll be up there come the end. All the best.
Cheers mate appreciate the honest comment. A bit surprised you haven’t seen better than us over 10 years though, The whole club including fans have a massive PL hangover, but like any hangover it will disappear and we’ll be ourselves again.
The old adage of "It's not how you start it's how you finish" certainly applies to Town atm. There is so much more to come from this group of players as the new ones bed in and others return from injury. The future is bright and of course orange ⚽️🎩
In recent years we have been notorious for starting the season slow. Yes its true, we kind of accepted defeat last season with a certain amount of good-grace, but that doesn't mean we aren't capable of winning games at this level. John Still used to say we needed six or seven games for the team to gel at the start of the season. There have been a number of additions to the squad during the last few weeks and it will take a few games for everybody to know where their responsibilities lie. We've also got players coming back from injury who will need time to reach match fitness. If you look at our entire squad on paper, we have one of the strongest group of players at this level. I have seen enough in all three games so far to feel confident that we will sort these things out. I can't believe people are already questioning Rob Edwards merits. Rob was born on Christmas Day so Hark Now Hear The Angels Sing...
No need to panic, but it's fair to say Luton and the fans need to reset expectations. I know Edwards was talking up a league title challenge, but we have won one competitive game since the start of February. There is not a lot separating the teams in the Championship so we can certainly recover and slowly build confidence, but I feel a mid table finish is the most likely outcome
We've lost big talents in Ross and Sambi - Baptiste is going to take time to get settled, but we dont have enough creativity coming through the middle now
I genuinely thought we looked really good besides our final product (eli and morris look like they're struggling for some reason), and unfortunately conceded a sloppy goal, which i think having Nakamba in there would have prevented it.. walters should play over ogbene imo. I'm confident this will turn out to be a good season, need time for things to properly click and build some momentum, its only gonna help with the current players out coming back in
Being a manager is not a computer game. It is more than picking the team or making subs. It is more than picking a tactic. They are components but not everything. Trust 2020 and the manager!
I haven't seen anything that leads me to believe we can finish higher than mid table. We look like the relegated PL team that struggles for form back in the Championship. It happens to teams nearly every season. RE has a lot of work to do!
He better start getting results or he will be gone why try and change things he has lost the all together atmosphere fans are dissatisfied just get back to the high press

I didn't know Andros Townsend had moved on. How did I miss that?
Hey Fellas, the Chong rumour was pure mistaken identity. The link to the original article now links to the Ogbene story.
