This video was so helpful. My wife has the 2017 equinox and needed a new radiator. I was able to get it done myself and save some money, since money has been tight recently. Thank you for this video.

Excellent video! I just did this job following your video. Here are my notes: 1. I was able to remove the cooling fan shroud from down below, seems much easier 2. I lost a small amount of tranny fluid and had to add some to compensate.
Pretty close to the GMC Terrain. Found it a bit easier to remove upper support frame with the 6 bolts and the 2 that hold the computer in place above the battery. Flip it up on top of the motor with the hood release cable still in it. Second is to remove the metal bumper held in by 6 bolts. The other thing is fog lights have a plug that comes out of the bulb and do not have to remove the bulb. Great video just realy needed to know that the bumper cover must come off. Thanks.
What about the transmission coolant that leaks out when removing the hard line from the radiator? My 08 Chevy equinox 3.4 v6 is a sealed transmission.. The car overheated and I noticed that the fluid coming out of the hard line into the transmission cooler is black in color.
Great video put together.i replaced a bumper,radiator & pass headlight on a 2012 Equinox LTZ I purchased at a auction.you made my project simple & fast.mine has 1 fan & didn't give me a hassle.great job explaining in details. 👍
I just finished mine....sort of. I wanted to replace a few hoses that go to the overflow tank. Overflow tank was full of junk as well. Cleaned it as best as I could but I have new hoses and tank on order. I had two trim screws and a weather pack electrical lock left behind so I'm going to rewatch the video and double check where I might have missed it. Opps. lol
Do the trans cooler lines have to go a certain way or can they go either way doesn’t matter? Only reason I ask is I don’t remember how the were when I tore them apart and it’s been a few days. It’s hard to make out which one is which in your video plus my model terrain must be a little newer than yours as some things are different. Both my lines come out the same spot at the motor on driverside so if they have to be a certain way how do you tell which one goes ware? I did them to how I think they are in your video and neither want to go in as they don’t meet up to the hole straight on.
About to purchase a radiator from yall. Is there a how to video on changing the radiator on a 2012 GMC TERRAIN? Or is it same process as a Chevy Equinox?? Thanks
Replacing the radiator AND A/C condenser, what do I do about the pressurized vapors that you're talking about? Stopped there because I didn't just want to start unhooking it...

I usually watch Lenny on his videos and he walked me through about 7 DIYJobs. I ordered a radiator and watched the videos it was easy. I got it in.
Gr8 video. Crazy engineering having to remove the front end and around the wheel wells to remove the radiator. Very well done.

@1:33 you can attach a 1/2 in hose to the petcock to control where the coolant goes so it doesn't just splash around.
@12:12 what’s the actual name of the tool right there? I need to get me one for my radiator.
Reqlly great video. I enjoy how thorough you gents are. How does burping occur?
Is this the same for a 4cyl?
What is the black cooler mounted in front of the a/c condenser?
Ether a power steering/ oil cooler. The reason I say power steering is that it is electric, computer controlled. No p/s pump
Great video can you point out location of ECT and thermostat on the Equinox 3.0 also thanks

Does the Lisle cooling system funnel have an adapter that fits that equinox. I need to change my equinox's coolant and I want a funnel like that.
The refrigerant vapors won't hurt you by themselves unless it just displaces too much oxygen.
The crossbeam that the latch bolts to can be removed easily. I have a video on my youtube that shows it. This is a great video here, thank you.
