When I was in kindergarten (or first grade, I don't remember), the Wii came out, which was a huge hit. EVERYONE had a Wii, myself included. Gradually as we got older, most of my female friends stopped playing video games while I got more into them. This lead to a lot of my friends ditching me in middle school because I was too "nerdy." I tried to fit in with the guy gamers, but they all judged me for playing the "kiddie" Nintendo games. Eventually my previous female "friends" had started to spread negative information about me, some true and some false.
However, I stayed true to myself and didn't let anyone change me for being different. To anyone who has gone through bullying of any kind, don't give up and don't give in. That's exactly what they want.

Me and my friend have a switch and he brings his switch to school everyday. (We're in high school btw) and we play Mario Kart 8 deluxe. A lot of kids who were into Xbox and PlayStation actually liked Mario kart and played with us. Nobody at my school cares what gaming console u like.

I have been bullied before. Not because of my love for nintendo but because I am slightly autistic and I was different from other kids. Nintendo and my other hobbies have all in a way been a coping mechanism for my hard time a school. I had a kid bully me through most of 5 th grade and he would pull my chair out from behind me when I sat down and I would fall and hit the wall behind me and the kid and his friends would just start laughing at me. He also made fun of how I was terrible at math. I have also heard from my friends that people have called me stuff like slender woman before. I have also been called an f****** alien before. I have also had my own brother bully me before in middle school and tell me that his friends think I'm weird ( I now take that as a compliment) and that I ruined his reputation even though he was mean to me and my friends. I've had a few kids pick on my in my freshman and sophmore year including the kid that picked on my back in 5th grade. It has happened a lot less and now I just hear about kids talking behind my back because they are to afraid to say anything to my face. I'm a senior now and I am so proud of myself and others that have been bullied that have made it this far. At some point I may be bullied for liking nintendo but I have friends and been in groups of people ( such as this channel and others) that adore nintendo and all things gaming and so I know that me and others that get bullied have a place to call home.

Stories like this is why I sometimes sympathize with school shooters. Bullying needs to stop. Especially against someone who's autistic or has any disability. People are so heartless and don't care about how others feel until they reach breaking point, and at that point the school is already on the news for a tragedy and lives (usually not the bullies) are lost. I'm in 7th grade right now, and I get called names for liking Nintendo. They always say that Nintendo consoles are trash, but in the end I realised they were just mad that the one time they did play Breath of The Wild (when I brought my switch on the last day of school for 6th grade) they kept getting one shotted. You know, it's taken me 9 years to buy a non Nintendo console, and it's just not the same. I buy a Nintendo console and you get that child-like wonder, you feel good, there's games that you can relax and have fun with. Don't get me wrong, I love having a ps4 and having the games that I have, but it didn't bring the same feeling. It just felt odd not seeing Mario or link, and instead seeing some random people in star wars because that was the game I bought with my ps4. I love star wars, and it did bring out the nerd in me, well didn't bring out because I'm already pretty nerdy and that's how I am, but it didn't bring out that feeling of knowing that I can be entertained for a long time, and I can go back and replay the game and enjoy it for what it is no matter how many times I've played it. I have the NES, I have so many memories with it and the n64 because my aunt owned both of them, and I had fun for years, and still do. It may be old, but as soon as you put in that cartridge, it's like your childhood all over again. I used to sit at school and try to hang out with the cool Kidd, but then I realized, they're total jerks, so I stuck with the nerds and Nintendo gamers, and I'm glad I did because it's made me have such a great passion for Nintendo and it's changed my life.
To be honest, in some ways, yes, liking Nintendo can make you somewhat nerdy, but who cares? Nerdiness just shows you don't really care about what others think about your passion. I've tried to be the serious dude who listens to metal, but that's really only part of me, in fact the rest of me is complete nerdiness, and it's not a bad thing. It just shows that I have a strong passion for Nintendo.

My brother got me into Nintendo, and ditched me for PC gaming. Now all he ever does is call me a "weeaboo" for liking Pokémon. But I was so afraid people making fun of me because I liked that kind of games. I am almost 20 but still I am a bit afraid to bring my switch out in public.
I tried playing the main stream games like cod or battlefield but I just don’t like it. I can’t enjoy it. At a moment I was done with going with the main stream and I got my Wii U, Wii and GameCube installed again and weeks later I bought the switch and I love it.

The first day of the school I curently going to, I were the only new kid and I didn't know anyone at that school. But the first day I wore my N64 shirt, first when I came to the school I heard someone behind me say like: Ha Nintendo! But after that no one said anything about my shirt. And when we went on recess I diden't had anything to do, so I started playing on my gba sp, and about 5 min later, about 10 to 20 people (not just from my class) that I diden't know were surrounding me and about evreyone thought it was relly cool.

When I was younger, my friends were always talking about their Xbox 1's PS4s. I got a PS4 to fit in, but 2 years later, I am now a die hard Nintendo fan and I don't feel weird or nerdy at all.
Let me tell you a story: In the sixth grade, I felt like there wasn't that many Nintendo players. There were some Roblox players, including me and my friends (not to mention, almost all of my friends did not play Nintendo) And also, there wasn't that many Nintendo players in the seventh grade either. When Holiday 2017 came, I wanted Call of Duty WWII so I could look "cool" and I "quit" Nintendo because I felt like it had a bad reputation. I got an Xbox One S with the game and another Rated M game. And not to mention, Call of Duty got boring _real quick_, so I quit playing that and the other game. However, once I saw the new Pokemon game, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon (I never knew about them at the time where I had Call of Duty), I was immediately hooked to the game. I bought Ultra Sun on January, and Ultra Moon about two weeks later. Then just recently, I saw news about Kirby Star Allies, and I was hooked because I also had Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot. And then, I saw news about the new Smash Bros, and I was happy that it would be coming to the Switch. I started getting so hooked into Nintendo again that now I want Mario Odyssey and Breath of the Wild. Not to mention, I also want Splatoon 2. It seems interesting, and not to mention, I also played through the first Splatoon game. I also made a new friend in the seventh grade, which by the way, he was a Nintendo player too. Because of all of the good games I saw for the Switch, I am currently asking for the Switch for my birthday or as a Confirmation gift. While Fortnite is a really good game to play on my Xbox, I honestly think that Nintendo was the start of my gaming obsession.
