Can we please stop and appreciate Hayden Christensen's portray of Anakin Skywalker. For me he was the perfect Anakin! Beautiful made tribute SWFT! class...
And back then we had so called Star Wars fans slating every line he uttered and every scene he was in. This may not be a popular opinion but I felt that the Prequels were the pinnacle of Star Wars. How I wish GL never sold Lucas Film to Disney and actually completed the story with the sequel trilogy of the whills.
Hayden's acting was so much better when his dark side came out. The scene where Anakin avenged his mother's death and talks to Padme about it was the best scene in the whole movie.
I refuse to watch the new trilogy after knowing how well the story had ended with return of the jedi. This video really makes me see how anakin skywalker was one of the most well written characters in all of science fiction and possibly all of fiction in general.
Like how you emphasised Ahsokas impact. Anakin tributes always seem so empty and lifeless without her. Pretty sure Lucas said she’s basically his little sister and he was keeping himself in check to be a good role model for her. It’s why Anakin in the show is more heroic and caring than in the movies. After she leaves Palpatine had him all to himself to corrupt. You can see his demeanour get darker in the last 2 seasons when Ahsoka isn’t around. It’s a nice setup for Revenge of the Sith. I’ve always liked the prequels but the Clone Wars is what really saved Anakin as a character. Added some much needed depth. I remember back in 2002-2008 he was considered an absolute joke in the fanbase and a disgrace to Vader’s legacy. Nice to see that perception change over the years with all these new fans who grew up with Clone Wars and the Prequels coming in. Really excited to see Hayden back in the Kenobi and Ahsoka show’s with the fanbase supporting him this time. Very satisfying for me as someone who’s always liked Anakin.
Star Wars is not about lightsaber fights or galactic shootouts. Star Wars is about Anakin's suffering ever since childhood. Losing everyone he loved along the way. There was no better way to portrait a fallen protector of the peace. Goodjob Lucas and good job SWFT for probably the best tribute to Anakin. A lot of tributes seem to leave Ahsoka out of the story, when in fact she was the perfect character to add depth to Anakin. If only could we get some shows or a movie that explores Davy Jones the same way Clone Wars did for Anakin, the world would be perfect.

Anakin, my heart breaks for this character every time I think of him. If only Quigon did not die at Naboo, if Obi-wan was as sensitive as Quigon, If only his mother had not died, if Ashoka had stayed if Padme hadn't died..... It would seem to me that his fate was sealed from the very beginning, everyone he ever loved and cared for was sadly taken away from him.... Rest easy with the Force from when you came Anakin Skywalker, you had an uphill battle against fate, I doubt anyone could have done better. I prefer remember Darth Vader as Anakin and vice versa 'cause they are one and his story arch is immense and dealing with universal matter: love, hate, hope, delusion, rage, fear. anakin skywalker has always been my favorite character. not because he is good or bad, but because despite all the machinery, he is human. he made so many mistakes, wrong doings, for what he was coerced into believing was right, what he chose to believe, and yet, in the end, he made a decision to save his son and redeemed himself in the process. he's a complex character and this brilliant video only confirms that. wonderful edit x

I challenge everyone to face the truth that Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader is both the best character and one of the greatest villains ever created over a long period of time for cinema (45 years or so). I'm not gonna lie - a tear fell down by the end. Can't wait for Kenobi series.
I am sorry, but can we appreciate Palpatine? How he, basically alone managed all this to happen? He was evil yes, but imagine the odds he stayed against and won. What a badass. Even though i dont like him for doing this to anakin, HE was the true villain :)

The best story ever told. Like George Lucas said, STAR WARS is the story of ANAKIN SKYWALKER and his family. In my personal opinion star wats begins with episode 1 and end with episode 6. Of course star wars offers an entire galaxy of opportunity but nothing will be so powerful and deep and perfect like 1 to 6 saga.

this tribute helps show how anakin possibly could’ve never turned and had faith in him like Luke did which helped him turn back to the light, and yes I know obi wan had faith in him but he was still concerned about anakin, Luke had full faith that anakin had good in him which lead him back to the light, and also amazing tribute

I really enjoyed the emphasis of how he hates the Jedi when he's doing Order 66. Also including the loss of Ashoka was important to show how much of an opening that left for Anakin to be manipulated by Palpatine. Also the way Luke turns Vader back to the Light Side was perfectly captured with the reflection of his downfall to the Dark Side. I loved it hope to see more awesome work.
Anakin has been always been a warning tale with how to balance your emotions and use them correctly. I've definitely been where Anakin has been with my career and relationships. It's ok to feel those emotions he was feeling, but I never gave in to the dark side (definitely came close though once lol). It was important that I transmute that energy into something positive and practice the art of releasing. That's why Anakin has always been my favorite because his story is so relatable and also is a learning lesson.

I remember watching the trilogy as a kid and falling in love with it. Darth Vader was my favourite. Star Wars still holds strong in my life today in my adult years, and Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader still remains my most favoured. This tribute video is the first I've seen with footage from Clone Wars and others. Amazing job!
This has to be the best video tribute to best character/villain ever created. To me this is the best story ever told and it changed my life at 5 years old back in 77 and still does today. Thank you for this one. This brings some attention and real emotions for Anakin and how twisted his path to the Dark Side is. Love it, that you included every important scene for this, expecially Clone Wars and Rebels had some good additions. Had to sub, too.
@Goki I've tried to get that one started a few times but it's a huge undertaking and very exhausting since Breaking Bad is such a complex story with so many seasons and episodes focused on mostly just one character. Next time I rewatch it I'll probably take some notes and have another crack at the video.
I've never been a big fan of Star Wars, but I've always liked Anikan and his story and how he would have done anything to save the one he loved it's something I'd do
It’s not regarded in how many people Luke Skywalker loses throughout his story. It’s just as bad, if not worse than the lives that Anakin had to lose. Worse because of his realization that his own father killed so many important people in his life. In that way, Luke is truly stronger than Anakin was . He had more conviction and more bravery than his father. He wasn’t stronger in the force, but his strength was stronger in his heart, mind and soul.
Tho if the books were canon Grandmaster luke was even more impressive then Anakin was, but we will never see a prime Anakin skywalker only a prime Darth Vader.
For me, being trully, anakin skywalker/darth vader Story/arc is not only the Best story of star wars, but the Best story of all the movies and series of all the time, i Love star wars

I found his turn so sad. I'm a newer fan watching the movies in chronological order and I had grown to love anakin despite me knowing about his turn beforehand because I only know snipets of the movies but i still was so devastated when he fully turned.
I used to think so too, but now that I’m older I think he had to. The Jedi in the story were politicized, controlling, and literally blind. They themselves were turning because they had been in positions of power for so long unquestioned. The order couldn’t go on the way it was and losing their system and power ended up allowing the real good to come out in the Jedi!
Fuck me this is incredible, I'm sobbing. I really hate the sequels, I haven't watched them, if I do I think I will lose my mind, but I know what happens, and all I wanna ask is why? Why cut up a storyline that was so perfect and was then wrapped up perfectly? For me they don't exist in my mind. Literally the powerful man that lost everything. Until he saw his wife through his son. He has fulfilled his destiny, bring balance and it was not in a way everyone had expected it.
That literally brought a tear to my eye! Bravo well done. Al lot people didn’t like the prequels when they came out . But for me .. I forever changed how I viewed Darth Vader. Then the clone wars series, it made you feel so as for him .
Anakin's story from start to finish is also reflective of the fact that we as humans will come to loose everyone we know and love in our lifetimes. And the emotional struggle and tug of war between light and dark that occurs from within that ultimately how you battle and fight and react to said struggle within determines the outcome of your own reality.
i remembered how much i was in tears with Return of the Jedi, when Luke was burning his father, and Ani joined in with Ben and Yoda.. this just made my eyes bit watery again.. thanks

The horrible reality that consumes our conscience every day. Anakin fell victim to the dark side. Just as we fall victim to the influences that surround us, every day, thinking that we are the ones that know the truth. But the truth is, the darkness consumes us all, without our knowledge. The dark side is as powerful as they say it is.

Who would of thought when watching ANH for the 1st time that this incredible story would come of it. Such a huge universe with so many amazing characters and character arcs that i could talk about for days. In my eyes star wars is a poetry, a heartbreaking tragedy, an absolute timeless masterpiece that should be enjoyed again and again for years to come! The story of the rise, fall and redemption of the greatest character to be written, that there is always hope and even the worst people can come back into the light. One of the things I love most about Star Wars, depending on which era your watching, old trilogy, prequels, sequels, series, the show/film doesn’t pander to you and makes statements facts unapologetically. Ex. Ashoka: I’ve seen what those emotions can do, even to the best of us. It forces you to seek to understand and when you do, all of the pieces beautifully fit together in a harmonious synchrony of art!

I could say so much more about this video! Only EXTREME Star Wars fans get the true depth of how important this video is and just how this overalled all the pain, deception, grief, anguish, anger, sadness, suffering, betrayal, loneliness, fear, of Anakin and so much more...

I remember watching the trilogy as a kid and falling in love with it. Darth Vader was my favourite. Star Wars still holds strong in my life today in my adult years, and Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader still remains my most favoured. This tribute video is the first I've seen with footage from Clone Wars and others. Amazing job!
This has to be the best video tribute to best character/villain ever created. To me this is the best story ever told and it changed my life at 5 years old back in 77 and still does today.
I admit I cried at the end because it means so much to me and how Anakins fate was always to suffer.

I've tried to get that one started a few times but it's a huge undertaking and very exhausting since Breaking Bad is such a complex story with so many seasons and episodes focused on mostly just one character.
Next time I rewatch it I'll probably take some notes and have another crack at the video.
I've never been a big fan of Star Wars, but I've always liked Anikan and his story and how he would have done anything to save the one he loved it's something I'd do

It’s not regarded in how many people Luke Skywalker loses throughout his story. It’s just as bad, if not worse than the lives that Anakin had to lose. Worse because of his realization that his own father killed so many important people in his life. In that way, Luke is truly stronger than Anakin was . He had more conviction and more bravery than his father. He wasn’t stronger in the force, but his strength was stronger in his heart, mind and soul.
The culmination of the best in both Anakin and Padme.
Tho if the books were canon Grandmaster luke was even more impressive then Anakin was, but we will never see a prime Anakin skywalker only a prime Darth Vader.

The amount of Goosebumps I had watching this can't be told in words.
I found his turn so sad. I'm a newer fan watching the movies in chronological order and I had grown to love anakin despite me knowing about his turn beforehand because I only know snipets of the movies but i still was so devastated when he fully turned.
I used to think so too, but now that I’m older I think he had to. The Jedi in the story were politicized, controlling, and literally blind. They themselves were turning because they had been in positions of power for so long unquestioned. The order couldn’t go on the way it was and losing their system and power ended up allowing the real good to come out in the Jedi!

Fuck me this is incredible, I'm sobbing. I really hate the sequels, I haven't watched them, if I do I think I will lose my mind, but I know what happens, and all I wanna ask is why? Why cut up a storyline that was so perfect and was then wrapped up perfectly? For me they don't exist in my mind. I don't care what anyone says, Anakin Skywalker was the Chosen One and will be forever. Like George Lucas said, "It begins with Anakin and it ends with Anakin" FULL STOP

Literally the powerful man that lost everything. Until he saw his wife through his son. He has fulfilled his destiny, bring balance and it was not in a way everyone had expected it.

Anakin's story from start to finish is also reflective of the fact that we as humans will come to loose everyone we know and love in our lifetimes. And the emotional struggle and tug of war between light and dark that occurs from within that ultimately how you battle and fight and react to said struggle within determines the outcome of your own reality.
Wow I thought this would be cringe to watch but I'm sat here 7 minutes 30 seconds in astounded at what I just watched. It's amazing wonderful job!

The horrible reality that consumes our conscience every day. Anakin fell victim to the dark side. Just as we fall victim to the influences that surround us, every day, thinking that we are the ones that know the truth. But the truth is, the darkness consumes us all, without our knowledge. The dark side is as powerful as they say it is.

Who would of thought when watching ANH for the 1st time that this incredible story would come of it. Such a huge universe with so many amazing characters and character arcs that i could talk about for days. In my eyes star wars is a poetry, a heartbreaking tragedy, an absolute timeless masterpiece that should be enjoyed again and again for years to come! The story of the rise, fall and redemption of the greatest character to be written, that there is always hope and even the worst people can come back into the light. One of the things I love most about Star Wars, depending on which era your watching, old trilogy, prequels, sequels, series, the show/film doesn’t pander to you and makes statements facts unapologetically. Ex. Ashoka: I’ve seen what those emotions can do, even to the best of us. It forces you to seek to understand and when you do, all of the pieces beautifully fit together in a harmonious synchrony of art!
