Jimmy, all the compartments and drawer just blew me away! The beauty of your craftsmanship above reproach and inspiring! Thanks for sharing your creative genius with us all these years!
I can't say how much I love watching these accelerated videos. The sounds of music, whirring saws and the tapping of hammers sped up is oddly pleasing.
I want to say thank you very much Jimmy. When I would be ill and could not go out, I watched your videos and they helped me escape from the disease. Thank you so much for the interesting video. Apologies for the poor knowledge of English, but i think you understand me.
Watching you makes me wish I'd have taken an interest in the weekly woodworking periods while I was school. Thanks for sharing more of your top-notch work, as the videos you produce are absolutely magnificent.
I see a lot of comments about Jimmy being The Flash :p But did you know that all his videos are actually shown in reverse! He doesn't build stuff. He very elegantly takes stuff apart! :D
That finger joint jig is the best and simplest I've seen. It's great to see someone utilizing efficient, no frills carpentry techniques to produce great pieces. Most guys only have hand saws in their shop as wall hangers. Thanks for keeping it real, as a result your pieces have character that can't be replicated.
Nice, Jimmy! Thanks! Funny thing is.....I heard my two young daughters asking their Mama "what are all those weird noises coming from Daddy's office late at night Mom? I laughed my ass off because I realized that I usually watch your videos with the volume way up when I am in my office late at night. They have been hearing the super speed sound effects from your various power tools and such......funny!
HOLY COW! I love it. Any grillin' man would give his right arm for this spice box. Great work, Jimmy...that box would make even the most discerning Italian grandmother proud!
I like the way this video was filmed. I think that the static camera positioning looks better than having someone filming by hand. Great build as always! Happy to see all the new videos pouring in!
The sound of the machinegun speed hammering with the occasional squeaky jibberjabber of people talking in the the fast-forward video mode. Love it! LOLOL
I can't understand why there are even thumbs down on videos like this. I get that there are haters everywhere but seriously how can you thumbs down craftsmanship like this! Jimmy if your ever in Houston Tx. Id be honored to buy you a beer.
Just watched this video with my 6 year old twins hanging over my shoulder. They loved seeing everything in fast-motion and guessing what it was going to be before the end (I didn't let them see the description.) When it was finished, my daughter exclaimed, "AMAZING!" Love it, Jimmy. Thanks for sharing your talents with all of us. Josh B.
This is my favorite video because it is what I want.... I going to build something like this for my kitchen... little different, but my spices mortar pestle, my own custom kitchen knife, cutting board and bamboo spoons..... Thanks for the Idea.
You are superb at what you do Mr Diresta, I can't help but be amazed at your work. I love the woodwork and the metalwork but the biggest thing is that you don't have a huge workshop full of multi-thousand pounds/dollars worth of machinery. Truly an inspiration for someone like me.On another note, have you ever done a video in making your box joint jig? It looks very useful.
Dude, I was so mezmorized by your work that I started pushing my mouse across the desk like I was feeding the table saw. It wasn't untill I saw the little arrow go across the screen that I snapped out of it!
love everything about your videos broski! the editing is exactly what i like and it keeps me engaged. You speed up and slow down the right parts to keep me watching. Love your style, skill and innovations, keep making videos man because i love watching them!
+christschool As you cut the 3rd board into stripes with the tablesaw, you soon realize the power of just one blade poking out of a breach going at least 3000 RPM
not tired of seeing me your videos are all very good I learn a lot watching them !!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !!! for you and all your followers Greetings from Malaga - Spain
Hi Jimmy, I've been a fan of yours for a long time mostly because you think inside the box sometimes but out-of-the-box just enough to keep people talking about you! I wish you and yours the very merriest of Christmases and a happy and safe new year.
Very nice! I have no idea why I never thought of taping hinges in place for drilling and fastening. and affixing a piece of sand paper to a board for cleaning up the edges at the corners, genius!
Every time I watch one of your videos, you do something in it that my brain instantly goes "nope, ruined it!" and every time, my brain is wrong! Dude you make some amazing stuff. I wish I had the space to have even a small work shop. Sadly a mid terraced house in England doesn't grant you a lot of room. I need that BBQ kit mind!
I love this channel so much! I noticed that at one point when the video went back to regular speed, you were listening to Patton Oswalt stand up. Lol another thing that makes you awesome!
Jimmy, all the compartments and drawer just blew me away! The beauty of your craftsmanship above reproach and inspiring! Thanks for sharing your creative genius with us all these years!

Jimmy was the best part of Trash to Cash. I watched each episode just to see what cool stuff jimmy was going to make next. One season wasn't enough.

I love how you completed the box before separating the lid from the base. Fantastic work!
Just rewatched this after years, and it is still awesome.
The sound of the machinegun speed hammering with the occasional squeaky jibberjabber of people talking in the the fast-forward video mode. Love it! LOLOL
Man, that is some 10 levels above next-level work. Just fantastic.

Classy product... Things like the name plate and using a strip of brass long the front of the jars really adds a unique custom touch. Great job!

What a neat trick cutting the dovetails by having the little block grab the previous cut for perfect spacing. Kudos!
Great project Jimmy! I think my favorite idea was how you cut the drawer front. Clever. :)
DUDE IT'S THE DIP IT GUUY

!!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !!! for you and all your followers
Greetings from Malaga - Spain
Amazing. Beautifully made as always.
What is the purpose of the bottom pull out rack?
+aethertech My guess is to season the meat so that the extra falls through below.
Or maybe to rest the meat?
I was thinking it for drying herbs ? Or maybe it's to put what ever they're seasoning on and to let the extra spices fall .
Obviously it’s for storing the wooden slats that he cut
Beautiful work Jimmy!
