As an update to your video Bury FC has been re-established. We are having a successful season and are sitting atop NWCPL. We are breaking attendance records and have been watched by more than 60% of all matches attendances in this league. In a strange way we have been reborn and now we are fan owned our financial problems are behind us. Although it will take another 8 years before we can be promoted to the EFL we will enjoy the journey, good times are coming back at Gigg Lane. We will be back, bigger and better than before. Wish us luck. UTS.
Extremely upsetting to see the owner's ignorance. The EFL should've also done more to prevent this happen to Bury, as well as the other clubs mentioned in the video :( - very sad!
As a charlton fan seeing our club 1 day away from the same end aroudn the same period of time it was very upsetting to see as it could've just of easy been us
I would love Bury FC and Bury AFC to merge and have been to many Bury AFC matches, they have done amazing to produce a club which is 100% fan owned. Now the cherry on the cake would be if the two clubs merge, which could be happening soon. I don't care about seeing Bury back in the football league, although it would be brilliant, all I want to see is a elite men's team at Gigg Lane. It has also been a brilliant effort from the volunteers to get Gigg Lane back to a suitable state so legends and women's matches could take place over the past year there.
@@OffThePostYT Yes a merger is the only way forward as Bury AFC have said all the time, Bury FC have finally seen sense and have also backed a merger, so all that is left now is for the fans of both sides to vote for the merger and get the two clubs merged in time for next season. I know I will certainly be voting for it.
@@OffThePostYT of course. The affiliation with City and Bury was actually official, contractually City have been backing Bury with loans and Summer friendlies for years. But now they needed help and City just let the staff fall into redundancy..
Because they're not a football club any more. They're a brand name for a United Arab Emirates equity fund. But hey, at least they actually invested in their brand on the pitch unlike those muppets the Glazers.

Indeed, the EFL needs to do all it can, it should act more responsibly and realistically to save football clubs.

Great to see a Bury AFC supporter! I also hope Gigg Lane can see elite men’s football again, it seems like a merge would be the only way forward.

Why the hell didn't Man City save their junior club
As I said in the video. I believe both Man City and Man United should’ve done more.
