This is such a beautiful album so far! Love hearing your stories. My husband has the actual paper of his great grandfather entering the US from Poland. It has a picture of him on it, the name of the boat he travelled on, and lots of interesting info!
I love doing my family history. Been doing it for 20 years now. I haven't put it into a scrapbook but made a memory book for my Nan as she is in care with Dementia. Your album is gorgeous.
Oh I just love this project! It really makes me want to go through all my Grandad's FOUR wardrobes of photo albums to see what goodies I can scan! Love how you are using this collection, it just seems perfect for you!
This project is so gorgeous, the collection is perfect for an ancestry album and you have so many amazing photos! Your Grandad sounds like a very good man, nice listening to your stories and I'm so glad he came back from war safe. Also, the sewn in tip in, GENIUS!
Amazing family history and to know so much about them.my mum grandfather was in the navy during ww2.my dads grandfer(the dorset way of saying grandfather) was todo eith tanks at bovington and might have been with captain tom moore.
Be glad you did this…both of my parents are gone now and that history is lost forever .
