I have to make a Family History Junk Journal for myself and my sisters for the longest while and I can't get started yet. I love yours! I will start working on it today, thanks for the inspiration!
I just want to add a caution to adding original old folders to a journal like this. I would scan them and make backups, print those and store the originals in an acid-free album. I'm in the process now of re-doing an album that belonged to my late mother-in-law who had some of her old photos in one of those sticky backed albums. Those are the worst thing to have old pictures in (or even new pictures!). We all want to keep our memories for generations to come! I DO LOVE the album though. There's just something about a journal with all of the colors and old ephemera that keeps you wanting to flip through it every time you see it. LOVE!
