I feel like both of the frostpunks are at their best when you're struggling, it perhaps forces you to make tough choices that really sells the bleak premise they were going for. Wouldn't it be smarter to dig deep into the ground and build a vertical city? Below ground should be warmer in general and heat rises up, so you have less "surface area" before it gets lost in the atmosphere. (The surrounding rock absorbs it as well but could be insulated efficiently).

I think you should attempt a best ending run, where you actually got peace. The final parts are too quick and it seems like you botched it beginning in the winter home part.
But so far you've done amazingly for the first play through and I'm interested to see more
Yeah I agree, was like my 2nd playthough and need slow down a bit. thats th eisue with recoring at the same time, you have to strike a balance between good gameplay and not making the video too long!
You could edit your videos?

im tweaking i thought this said 30 minutes lol
Nope, way longer than a 30mins 😂
I was starting like this video until the sh't load of adverts. These adverts spoil the content.
Hmm a Confusing Game
It can be!
I think the story mode is wayyyy too short
I think it’s just right!! We are getting some DLC packs int he future though!
This doesn't feel like frostpunk..
At first it didn’t, but after a while for me it does
I was pretty disappointed, I loved the first Frostpunk, did not like the second in the slightest...I may be a loser, but its TO hard. The constant CONSTANT micromanaging everything to optimize it... only for something else to go down or become insufficient moments later...was to much.
Its very different for sure. The start is very difficult to be fair, maybe give it another go at some point in the future!
...Ah, a Bad ending. *maybe, you are lying to yourself*
I always lie to myself 😭
Nice vid, first time watching ya. Dropped a sub fore more awesome content!
Thanks! Really appreciate it 😁 load more FP2 coming!
I thought it was an actual game instead of a building simulator 😒
It is a game?
all i see you struggle to manage resources but back in frost punk its not like that yes you struggle for resources here and there, but there are moments where your colony thrive as well but in this I don't see that. this seems like garbage game to compare to old Frost punk the district is really trash concept i would rather plan my city and people than just talking to 4 fractions leader going to cut my throat anytime. i don't see fun elements. this doesn't seem fun at all. but your gameplay was really good nice vid thanks for showcase
There are times where you can get the city stable, but then people will arrive and demand goes up! That is just Frostpunk though! Me personally wouldn’t say it’s garbage, but it is wildly different to the first one. I do love it though, once you get your head around the new mechanics, it starts to feel very Frostpunk again
@@Logistical but the true soul of Frost punk is the choice you make for individual peoples and your decision does impact there lives. you decide how you going to build city which building goes where is yours decision, city planning where u need heaters will impact there lives but alot of assets are copy paste in this version and they copy paste all the wrong things. i played it 6 hours and i just can't sit infront of the screen had to delete the game. it was this bad for me so i do stand with my opinion and respect yours as well.
@nitinmann oh yeah, I’m not saying you are wrong! It was a bold choice for them to take FP in such a different direction! Thanks for the comment 😊
@@Logistical thanks you for the showcasing the gameplay i really appreciate it
frostpunk2 seems to me like a cheap copy of frostpunk... like matrix 4, you know how it should look, but you can change the whole thing anyway
I would have to disagree. Matrix 4 was a lazy cash grab trying to take advantage of nostalgia. Frostpunk 2 breaks new ground while keeping true to the original games. What I would say though it’s VERY different and won’t be for everyone
@@Logistical Visually, I think it's worse..fp1 was more beautiful..in fp2 I miss people, how they move in the streets, details on houses and other similar things, now there are only some super fast fireflies
@@db4423 in fp2 you dont have the time to look around
1:45:20 for me
Painful times in the council
at 1:25:25 you put a fuel stockpile instead of a food one, not trying to be mean, but I noticed that
Ah fair, I do that sometimes with a lot of stuff and never notice it 😂
Frostpunk 2 is boring as hell. It's like faint shadow of Frostpunk 1. They (developers) destroyed good idea and make this crap.
Hard disagree, it’s just different that’s all
