  • Basements can be a damp unpredictable environment.... That's why I advise using a spray foam insulation for your bathroom or finished living space 💥💥 It will create a complete vapor & air seal to your foundation wall and prevent condensation coming into your new wall materials. In this video I demonstrate the use of the FROTH-PAK 200 spray foam kit. These kits are perfect for small areas like a basement bathroom addition 🌟 For more help with bathroom remodeling & links of these products 👇

This will be of a lot more interest if they ever come up with a formula that is less toxic when applying. I do understand the need to cover yourself well, as getting expanding foam in any form on clothing and skin is irreversible, and in your eyes can be permanently blinding. Something should be developed where the fumes generated when spraying and curing are less toxic.

My neighbor is a retired electrician who hates foam insulation for obvious reasons.

Whats the R value with this spray foam? Im in a sticky situation. Im remodeling an older bathroom. It doesnt have normal 2x4 studs in the walls. They used wood thats approx. 1-5/8th x 1-5/8th. I have no room for hardly anything. The only thing I cam think of is foam but doesnt have much R value. I live in Indiana so the weather is decent. Thoughts??

Closed cell foam is a perfect choice for that

any issue with using froth-pak 200 which is only supposed to be for gaps? We can't get the 210 kit in Canada that is specifically for this application. Also, how long do you need to wait between coat 1 and 2? Do you apply 1 coat and just immediately start applying the second layer?

Yeah you can pretty much run a second pass 5-10 minutes later. It only gets too hot (the foam mixture) if you apply to thick at once. I would recommend a box fan too for air movement. I’m not sure what the real difference is between the 210 & 200. It doesn’t go too far though…

Wasn’t this posted already? I’m confused.
Sparky here, this stuff is great at making a long day for us. Just toss the fish sticks back in the van cause we’re tearing up your walls without care and then you get to patch them. Seems a little ridiculous, but if you’re doing a new build you may want to consider running EMT or flex. At least for your home runs, or home runs that could be common areas for remolding down the road.
