it's amazing how people can be so stupid... This guy did an AMAZING review, very well explained and very useful, and there are some guys complaining because "he didn't look at the camera... come on... make MUSIC not fashion on useless polemics.
Right! I was at first wondering why this guy won't look at the camera?! Then it hit me Whoa! You are here to learn how to manipulate this very complex piece of Tech not look at pretty faces. So, LOL. I thank him for staying focused as it directed me to do the same. Very well done. Just some areas of the audio are a bit muddy.
I just got a MK3 a couple weeks ago. I've been loving it so far. Still learning obviously, but it really speeds up a lot of processes for me. If you are into Electronic music production and like Native Instruments products like Massive, FM8, Battery and the like I highly recommend getting a Maschine.
I really appreciate your humility, brotha. thank you for sharing your knowledge and thank you for making videos that are about the tutoring and not the tutor. much love.
Great video! You do a great job describing the Mk3 features, but also make it fun! Love how you use basic samples and really bring them to life! Thanks my man! Keep it up!
thanks a lot for this video. I've been spending way too much time on the DAW, this is such a quick and intuitive work flow. Thanks. I had to watch it few times to fully grasp everything. I appreciate it man
Very cool, these videos are indispensable, Please leave these up! Seems like many ppl Keep buying these, used and new, and we need some advice and knowledge to get GOING with em, THANK YOU so much!
9:33 I too got confused by the pads being disabled when the perform strip has NOTES mode activated. That's the default, but you can set them to be enabled: when in keyboard mode, button 4 "PADS ON" can be activated, see 7:51 Great demonstration, really interesting to see how you can make different sounds from a single sample so easily in Maschine, and how it leads the resulting sounds to have complementary harmonic characteristics too.
Buff.. First have to go work n earn some dollars and save em up. :D Is it fun to start with Komplete Select for the beginning ? Are there enough internal Devices ( EQ, Comp, etc..) to get rolling ? So I could then upgrade one day when I got used to it and have earned even some more Dollars to Komplete Ultimate?. Thanks very much for the cool video. You really seem to enjoy making it. That's the reason I turn away from Ableton to Bitwig as DAW and to MASCHINE as a Beat-making Baby. I know exactly how I will Enjoy getting lost in a Controller and feeling the Music. Sure, there is Push - but I want to get Ideas rolling Simple and Straightforward, and not only the techno-style 4x4 beats which evereyone with a push seems to be doing because ableton and push lean themselves to that kind of music ( I am an Ableton fanboy since Ableton 4 by the way). When I get lost in my Computerscreen I make Music more Visually t- but that is something I actually don't want . So it's time to get back to what got me excited in making Music when I was a teen and there were no DAWs.
You managed to write and arrange more in ten minutes than I do in ten hours... I've got the original MK1 Maschine. Might have to upgrade... Great vid and very well explained.
BeaTTender bro the mark2 demolished mk1, the mk1 was more just a concept. Was fucking pissed after mk2 came out and they abandoned the mk1. Same will be fate of mk 2 although i still really like mk2 interface. Pick one up for cheap if you are one of the millions of musicians who already has a scarlett
This video is great, very helpful, thank you for sharing! Any chance you could share those two samples? Those were very cool, would like to have them to repeat/practice this great video. Thanks again! awesome job

Super super helpful. I’ve had the mo3 for a few months now and the biggest problem I have is creating multiple scenes and patterns. When in arranger, I start with a blank slate create beat so scene 1 pattern 1 is set, but when I add more scenes with additional patterns the patterns are still under scene 1. What am not doing correctly?
maybe it's me but i never heard you mention, " SAVE YOUR WORK!!! " i personally save after every step i do... i make saving part of my workflow... lost toooooo much not to. good vid. cheers.
Thanks for answering one of the biggest concerns I had about creating different sections and making a song. Is it possible to play those sections and then sing over the top? I would either record onto external device or onto computer / DAW
When you tried the lead sound on the upper notes, i wish a simple timestrech function would be available as the ableton simpler or even Kontakt has for ages.
When you go to chord mode, are you using the omnichord sample and the Maschine is automatically making that sample to a different chord or is that chord mode just a software sound? If that makes sense lol :)
Does anyone else find their new maschine misses the first beat in every recording. It's like it doesn't sync up with the DAW in time so I have to wait til after the first beat to input, which throws off my timing. Then there's the hard drive that is a paperweight for komplete for Windows 10, apparently it doesnt work since the creators update, so you have to download everything. I like the feel of it and am improving at finger drumming, but the workflow (which I was warned about) and the daw syncing problems are making me question whether to just sell it. I wanted to also use the knobs for controlling instrument parameters but it seems very shallow and hard to map to non- NI instruments/synths
Can you use these things with analogue instruments like bass and guitar? For example direct input into the maschine your bass. Record a 3 min track and then layer other stuff on top of it. Or what ifperhaps you record the bass on your computer and then you load that file onto the maschine. Uf anyone can answer would he great or id you know a device for doinf this stuff
I still don't get the difference between a SECTION and a SCENE, unless you can operate at SCENE level on the pads, then run the REC function in arranger view and trigger SCENES for varying lengths of time on the fly and the arranger captures the performance as SECTIONS?
it's amazing how people can be so stupid... This guy did an AMAZING review, very well explained and very useful, and there are some guys complaining because "he didn't look at the camera... come on... make MUSIC not fashion on useless polemics.
Why would someone complain about that? 🤣

Machine is a great interface. And now it’s standalone. It’s a no brainer . I ordered one after the MPC fell far short of my expectations. ✌️👽
Thank you! Finally a clear cut example of the arranger.

This guy knows what he is talking about. This was an amazing & interesting video!
Great go too video... certainly a brilliant update on the Mklll and with the S88 it's awesome..Thanks.
Excellent - no flab; clean, clear, concise.
The best video on mk3 I've seen so far no wonder I stick with NI
Amazing demonstration of the power contained within the Mk3. Love it! Well done!
In case you were wondering, at 12:40 he looks into the camera. Back to topic: thanks for giving me a hint of what Maschine is really about.
Best demo on the new Maschine by far!

the track you made is fire
this video was excellent. very well thought out, and very enriching, for beginners and experienced alike

Really helpful. Amazing what you can do without once looking at the laptop.

Sweet video! Thanks for the tutorial, very effective for me to overcome the technical side.

2020 MK4. No computer required. Internal ssd for standalone operation. Optional battery power
I would drop 2000 for that.
Im pretty sure that already exists ? maybe without battery power? the Akai MPC X?
Is the MPC live really that much better? Would it help a newbie?
No computer required? A sampler is a computer.
@@exmoorbeast9769 mpc is a sampler. Maschine have vsti support and is not a detail.

Studios are selling for $300 on eBay, thanks mk3.
You'll need an interface too
by the end of it you'll be paying more.
+DJAbraxoOfficial what do you mean?
If they're thinking about getting something else then they'll need an interface. NI built integrated one into the MK3.
Yep I bought the MS just yesterday on eBay for $250. It was surreal
@@sactownchad It's better than no interface though.
But I'm at the point where I'd like to sell this for a focusrite and a push 2.
Great tutorial! Is it possible to see the Arranger view while in PAD Mode? Seem to only be able to see it in STEP mode?
hell ya brotha thank you for the info.

I don't enjoy learning the hard way. But much like yourself, I often do.
Can you record a filter or pitch change kinda like when you use the variation slider in the mpc 2000xl and make the beat get faster or slow it dwn?
So the maschine studio is the better choice?
This video is the reason i just bought a maschine mk3. you bet.
my maschine arrived!!!!!
How does the mixing work?

can you lock settings like the note repeat so that you don't have to hold the button?
When you go to chord mode, are you using the omnichord sample and the Maschine is automatically making that sample to a different chord or is that chord mode just a software sound? If that makes sense lol :)
Joshua Beebe it plays the sample at different semitones to create chirds
