- Pushing the the R1S a little more alongside a stick FJ cruiser with a manual trans. R1S minor battle scars of curb rash and slider scratches. Sliders got hit 4 times with no under body damage so it worked well.

Yeah it got tougher and some obstacles I didn’t know there was a bypass so we accidentally did them. Lol
Nice! I did this in my R1T in May, handled it like a champ. Mile 2 when your 25* pitched into the ground thinking your going to faceplant is a sobering moment.
Yeah the video can’t properly portray that possibility of falling through your own windshield going 1mph. 😂
Great Video!! Waiting for my R1S to go do some off roading. Rivian not providing a full spare tire is a bit worrying. Do you guys take a spare tire?
@@sanjaya50 there is a compact spare that we have, it’s not off-road worthy but we’ll use it if we need to. We have a tire repair kit and an off-road tire sidewall patch kit. Other than that we are just praying constantly for safety. 🙏🏿

How much range decrease with that roof top tent?
All I can say is I’ve gotten about 220-230 @70-75mph from a full charge to running on “fumes”. 1.35-1.85 mi/kwh. The biggest thing for me was the wind noise reduction.
…that’s after the wind deflector install. Before it was unbearable and lower range.
