James Braha did my chart last year. He’s so professional and straightforward. The reading I received was accurate and eye opening. Thank you so much for inviting him for an interview Jony, he’s the best!

James Braha is one of the most honest and humble of the American vedic astrologers, unlike many.

What kind of questions were you asked from your past for that “prediction”?

I got my Chart read by James Braha recently. He is the best! Book a session, it is well worth the money! He makes Vedic astrology easy to understand.

What I love about James Braha is that he's so real. So genuine. And he makes Jyotish real and genuine. With him, jyotish is not some high-falutin' shlokas and mantras and gemstone remedies and worshipping this god or that goddess... with him, jyotish is about YOU, and your family, your pain, your joys, your goals and your talents and needs. When he reads your chart, you can bet your bottom dollar that he won't put up with bs from you... he will have looked at the chart and analyzed it in an incisive manner and then once you're with him, he will relate that knowledge with you and your life. He's done a couple of readings for me, and I learned through those to shut up and listen... really listen to what he was trying to tell me. And it worked. Some of the things he said didn't actually make sense during the reading, but they make sense now. And some of the predictions he made were absolute gold. What he does is make Jyotish accessible to everyone, and by everyone I mean us Indians who are kinda tired of being patronized by so-called jyotishis bs-ing us constantly thinking we don't know any better. James will EXPLAIN the concept behind the prediction or the analysis IF YOU WANT HIM TO, especially after he asks you how much you know about Jyotish and you tell him you absolutely know about it and have studied it. From then on, he will take you as an unofficial student of his for that one hour and pour his knowledge out to you. We are lucky to have him around... and I dearly wish I could go to this conference, but guess what? Back in summer of 2022, James predicted that come this April (meaning April 2023), my then-dead-in-the-water career will FLOURISH, and it HAS. I now have a job and I will not be able to take time off and I'm happy about that. I sincerely hope that Kapiel Raj or someone will put that lecture up on YT.

I also started out learning then practicing Tropical Astrology for 20-25 years, then my first Vedic Astrology book was written by James Braha. It took me a while, but eventually, made the leap into Jyotish, first with Kapiel’s videos, then Marc Boney’s classes also, of course, Miss Joni’s wonderful videos, and I have to say, I would love to come to the conference and meet you all, but I might be tangled up in immigration process as I am renewing documents and getting another passport for dual citizenship. But if it’s possible, I will be there! I would love to come and meet and have the benefit of all you described here together. So much fun!

Interesting. I have Jupiter, mercury and Sun conjunction in the ninth house in Sagittarius. It definitely expanded my nervous system (but I also have moon conjunct Mars in virgo - moon in Virgo is already nervous). But I do sing well. I also have Rahu in the 2nd house of speech and Venus aspecting they 2nd house from the 8th. Used to get stage nerves back in the day, mostly over that now.

What he said about Jupiter and Mercury absolutely makes sense. It didn't before because I was like -- what is he talking about?! All the people I know who have Jupiter and Mercury closely conjunct or at least conjunct are intelligent and widely read and so on. But... BUT... what he said HERE made a lightbulb go off in my head. I have this friend... you could call him a close colleague... he has his Jupiter in the same degree as his Mercury AND they are also in the SAME declination! So, conjunct AND parallel!! (they are also trine his Uranus but that's beside the point -- this conjuncted trine, btw, I believe makes him immensely intelligent with super-fast analytical abilities. He's a top-rated scientist)... but anyway, guess what he is also? Incredibly nervy... he cannot stand loud noises at night, and that includes if someone uses the bathroom exhaust somewhere else in the house! He's incredibly finicky and I think a difficult person to co-exist with unless you are a very patient person. Hats off to his wife of more than 20 years. So, THAT is what a partile Jupiter/Mercury will do. James Braha solved that puzzle for me with THIS video. THANK YOU, Ms. Joni.

Hey Joni! I love your videos and am a regular listener. I respect your guests views too. But, I would like to correct the perspective that is shared here. Indians have been the most open to sharing knowledge with the whole world. We have never hidden or patented our knowledge ever because we believe knowledge is for everyone. Our Vedic knowledge has been used by the whole world and patented in their name and be the recipient of Nobel Prize in all fields. And we have not been poor by any standards we contributed to 33% of the economy of the world in our ancient times and that’s why the whole world wanted to come here. We had universities 100 years before the world even started having schools and these universities catered to imparting knowledge to students from all parts of the world whether it was Greece, China or any other country. So, please correct your information on India. And I am not sharing this to offend anyone but to correct the misinformation about my loving country.
