It depends on the recipient’s needs. That’s how they give the allotted hours. So more hours would be more money. The system is wack though just like the rest of the country because of our government. No balance, lots of struggle for basic needs. Just saying.

I’m caring for a mentally handicapped, they only approve 3.30 hours daily when I’m caring for her 24/7. Even when I submitted assessment from doctor, still not approved for more hours.
I’m allotted 89 a month as a provider. But I think it varies on how much the recipient needs. It’s on the time sheet entry online. And if it’s paperwork, I believe it’s noted also.
Please post a link to available workers by zip code. there are people looking for work and people needing assistance. be sure all providers are IHSS approved. Recipents should always check multiple references and do a criminal background check for anyone they hire. IHSS requires fingerprinting and federal background.

I went to the portal page and was told that my password had expired and was told to create a new one. I went back to the site and changed the password to the new one- once again, rejected. Too much security just to chat?
I had exact same issue like yours signing up since the county upgraded to New Portal . I called the local dpss office and explained the issue I had but none done so far to resolve issue.

After 30 minutes the message said I was #20, after 45 minutes it said I was #10, an hour later it said I was #20 again. I then just hung up to find another way. I am trying to help an IHSS recipient obtain an exception for a paper timecard. There should be a link for that.

My mother circuits are old wireless there's no home line do to her circuit breakers and she's not trying to fix them i.live w her I have no.choice but to.use my cell however ATT shutting down home lines .I missed my workers call due not being near my cell ' lady's room' but I need to speak with her regarding hours she provided but has not been turned in and i.dont want no lying or fraud against me due to the paper work.ive had seven back Surgeries and I can only give my thank to God for being able to barely walk cane is needed if over a block please let's set a date time I .can make to see or talk with my worker thank you,
