If you read the in game book nobody read that is in cs 3&4 as well as the reverie title 3 and 9 you will find that yes swin had to for a mission

If you heard of the Langrisser Mobile game, when they did the Trails in the Sky Crossover and added Estelle + Joshua as playable characters, Joshua was part of the "Princess Alliance" faction.
