The thing is with South Indian trailers they don't show much in it, they like to keep the suspense always (as u might have seen in other trailers such as Vikram, 96 or Master) while in North Indian trailers they always show much. It depends on choices I guess but I'd say for the movie original was way better in my opinion. Kabir Singh was hyped cuz of B'wood ig altho Shahid Kapoor did a great job but u can't beat the rawness from Arjun Reddy and if u know Telugu then it'd be cherry on top, that's why Vijay devarakonda rose to stardom after this movie

There is a TEASER for ARJUN REDDY which showed some scenes in KABIR SINGH trailer and was good
The way they (makers) chose to give that kind of trailer is that to make more suspense among audience and make them to watch the movie as the Actors Vijay Devarakonda and Shalini Pandey and other supporting actors are like newbies like they must have did 2 or 3 small movies like that... But this was the 1st movie for Shalini Pandey and she is from North Hindi speaking girl who learned Telugu and did a very good job
For me i speak TELUGU and understand HINDI as well but i felt SHALINI did like the realistic way of acting but people will love KIARA because of her beauty mainly ( she also did good acting) but i skipped many scenes watching KABIR SINGH
Also when making ARJUN REDDY Director asked many producers to produce this movie but no one were interested so Director father and Brother invested in movie and hence the quality in making this movie is very low like the movie was made under 5 crore i believe and collected 50 crore
Where as SHAHID is not a newbie and he has following so the KABIR SINGH collected 200 cr and the director was also one of the producers for this KABIR singh as well
Because of this ARJUN REDDY KABIR SINGH was made in a more cinematic way, they way director wanted to make
But the original is original
I saw that movie like 2 times in movie theatre and 3 times when it came out on OTT
Also ARJUN REDDY faced many obstacles to get released as the movie was made as A rated and the people who gave the certification for all movies made the makers to trim many scenes and dialogues were muted which are bad words which are not usual to be shown on big screen in Telugu movies but it was common in Bollywood so there were no obstacles.
Also i really like SHAHIDS acting in other movies like HAIDER and many more as he is my childhood as well but Vijay Devarakonda has more swag and can act pretty well as well ( not as good as HAIDER performance) but the swag is on another level for VIJAY DEVarakonda

No offence but Vijay has lived in the character, he enacted through the directors vision and it was honest, sadly the remakes had no other options rather than to do copy paste..... and they all have a reference of arjun reddy to re shoot and vijay showed it to them on a screen. Original is always the Best irrespective of the actors or language

Original one is better, way better. I had high expectations for kabir singh after watching AR but bruh shahid thought acting in it was all about shouting and getting angry. I didn't connect to it as much I did with Arjun Reddy. Watch the original one. If you want to watch a beautiful actress then go for Kabir Singh. I couldn't go past the football intro of KABIR SINGH. The acting didn't feel authentic, it was more dramatic and was a bit overly done. Arjun Reddy was more grounded in terms of performances. VIJAY looked more realistic in that role.
