As i get it.. It's a love story with ups and downs & causes which leads to drama, thriller & bold character of the man. He was a young doctor who usually teach student's aswell in some medical college and there he fall in love with some girl. Then they were having good time until some tragedy appeared (in the form of girl's parent's had found a guy for him to do arranged marriage/ or she is going somewhere abroad/ or a tragedy happened to her ) and the effects of losing her changwd the man becoming alcoholic, druggie, addict, self-destructive, short tempered angry man.. from where he started spoiling his life.. and in last something had did something to him over that girl and he became a rebel with a cause against the offender/govt/girl's parent's etc.. but it looks like ending will be happy they both will come alongside.. but lovestory with thrills, drama & bold character adds more suspense and good story with good character's & acting for youth.
Tone of the movie - intense dark love story; the character has a possessive and violent personality but softens up for this one girl. Incapable of handling emotions or even the breakup, character spirals through whirlpool of emotions. On a whole, the character cares only for the girl. Won't be a bad bet to watch it up.
That's how Bollywood movies might seem to you....they generally do have that switch which can be a little difficult to gauge...they aren't quite limited to one genre as in Hollywood to appeal to a greater amount of the masses
