Your editing is the best of all the vloggers on you tube, your videos are perfect you are such a cute couple, I suffer from anxiety and ocd and some days it gets to much, but then I watch you over coming your pain and living life to the fullest and it inspires me to get out there and be brave and try and have fun.

Jessica! I’m on the mini pill & it’s got rid of my horrific periods & migraines! Also great if you have POTS (which I have too) as it doesn’t affect it like the other one can!

I'm in the US and I take a pill called Junel. I haven't had a period in a year and a half. It's been AWESOME.

Since you asked for suggestions about hormones to manage PMT sadness: I had raging PMT all my life, terrible period pain and deep depression every month. No kidding. It took a week out of every month of my whole life. I have a lot of chronic illness too boring to inflict on you and then in my late thirties I added to that a brush with endometrial cancer which was sorted at a very early stage. I was given oral progesterone to counteract the oestrogen loving cancer but it made me mad, bad and sad to know, like permanent PMT. So I was given a Mirena Coil to pump out localised progesterone to keep the cancer cells from reforming. Well, the miracle was that within a couple of months my PMT reduced to almost nothing, so did my period pain and so did the monthly dark side of the moon depression AND terrifyingly bad monthly migraines! I began to understand those women who barely notice their periods other than that subtle shift in the tides. I have never had any medical intervention that did me so much unintentional good. :] Plus I rarely bleed now. My only advice of note is to always have a Mirena Coil inserted by a Gynae and not a GP, however good they say they are at doing it. My lovely Gynae Oncologist did a wonderful job. Jessica, I love your channel, but I just wanted to make a small comment today about how I love *how much* and *how genuinely* you smile, you are so sweet and full of love and keep choosing joy! Your smile makes your whole face glow! Now I'm going to be a little shallow and say I want to get my teeth whitened and figure out how to put on lipstick properly so I can smile widely and confidently in public like that as well. You make me want to actually do it, rather than keep thinking about it and philosophizing over it!

I could 100% relate to the fatigue that comes with clothes shopping. I rarely have it in me to try on more than 3 things while in the fitting room - it's too much! xx

4:07 I'm not quite sure about pills but what I normally do before I go out, is that I get a really hot towel (Not hot enough to burn my skin though xD) and place it on my belly for like 5 minutes. Later on it really makes me feel less sad and more comfortable. Hope this helps! :D

Medication advice:
Migraines=Panadol Soluble
Cold/fever/sores=Normal Panadol.
Although for sores, you can get heating oil. Such as tiger balm, minyak yuyi cap limau and that kind. Just go to a pharmacy and ask about it.
Caution: Be sure you're not allergic to these medications.

i'm like nearly 2 years late but jessica i have to say i'm always really impressed by your power of perseverance! honestly i can't imagine going out and doing things with a migraine, nor would i ever think "well, it's going to hurt no matter where i am so i might as well go out!". it's honestly really admirable!

Jessica, I have several Chronic Illnesses and neurological conditions, Including daily pain and migraines. I started working with essentials oils a couple years ago and it's made a huge difference with pain, symptoms and even hormone fluctuations! Do remember if you try them, look for very pure ones and a little goes a very long way. This is especially true for sensitive people, such as us. I recommend having a good carrier oil (such as almond, Jojoba, etc.) on hand to dilute them. I wish you the best
If you want to stop having a proud look into an IUD. It works for 5 years. I'm on my second one and had nothing but a little spotting. My hormones stay level and no cramping
Manicured Mechanic The IUD seems to be a hit or miss with getting your period. I got mine up until a year in. Now it's like just random months where there's spotting. BUT I get cramps like I never had before. It might be unpredictable
Emily Murphy ya I habe mine fire six months then never got one back. Every once in awhile I'll have a huge mood swing or craps but it's so worth not dealing with the monthly cycle
It's not recommended for people with connective tissue problems to use iud due to the risk of tearing the uterine wall combined with the effects of progesterone making joints even looser than they generally already are in us unfortunately, it has to be a fine balance we can either have no period problems and be generally in more pain constantly or we can deal with worse symptoms for a few days a month along with pms

As for the pill, I've personally been on Yasminelle (I think in UK it's called Yasmine) for nearly ten years now. Although I know a few people don't get on with it, I personally love it! I still get my periods (my mean issue was that they were super irregular) but without any pms/being hormonal or pain whatsoever when they do come. 💪☺️
It’s really nice to see how you get through traveling abroad. I’m planning a trip to England in May (just got my passport!) and I’m a little worried about how it’ll go with my joint problems. Your advice in these vids has been really helpful! I hope your period passes soon - I dunno if you already take this with your meds, but, I take iron supplements just before and during my period to help mitigate the pain (I can’t take any form of birth control, so I’m kinda stuck with this nonsense).
I don't have nearly as many medical problems or pain, but this is such a great reminder that there's no point to stop living your life even when you're feeling like poo most of the time. I mean yes, rest is good when you need it, but the thing I most struggle with when I have migraines etc is feeling like my life's completely on hold and I wonder if it's all just going to be like this forever, like I won't be able to do anything because I feel like shit. But actually, there's still a whole lot of stuff you can do with the right medication and knowing your limitations. This reminds me that pain and illness doesn't have to be something that stops you from living your life completely, but something where you just have to be a bit more choosy of what you want to do, or do things bit by bit, even if it's not always perfectly wonderful. So thanks for this reminder. I will most definitely be reminding myself this the next time I feel like poo. :)
Sorry you're in pain now, but girls you look so happy and energetic in these videos! And Malaysia is so beautiful and colourful! Concerning my own chronic illness, it looks like moving to warmer climate next to the sea really helps. Hope period leaves you be and you continue to have a great vacation time! :D

Omg I CANNOT BELIEVE you're in Malaysia and that I've missed my chance of seeing you guys in real life because I don't know you both yet that time. Just found your channel not too long ago and I've been a fan since, and to think that you guys were so close to me :( hope you guys enjoy your stay in Malaysia!
1.Regarding hormonal control - I have found seaonale has been pretty good. You still get your “period” 4x a year, but the terrible PMDD is regulated to a few days every three months instead of a whole week every month. Done loads for my mental health.
2. Claudia’s knickers crack me up and they’re great, she should be happy about them :)
3. The mall made me very nostalgic for Tokyo but I live in a major metro area in the US and have nothing like that here. So, still impressed!!

Jessica I take a continuous birth control that stopped periods in order to stop the migraines I got with them. I have chronic migraines but getting rid of the menstrual ones helped a lot.

Amazing video ladies. Fred was an epic touch! It’s be great if Fred could make some other appearances in future videos as cuddly things make everything better :) additionally the Marina Coil really should be looked into, it can practically eliminate periods and reduce a vast variety of other symptoms like chronic pain caused by the cycle. If you ever do choose it, take the sleep induced option. Never be conscious people, it’s traumatic lol.

What helped me immensely was to take Midol for a couple of days before that time of the month. It really reduced that horrible, aching pain.
