These cars are extremely fuel efficient and at a time when gas is over $5.00 a gallon that is more important than ever. There is also a low cost of entry into buying a Prius and low maintenance costs as long as you don't have to replace the battery.

Just to clarify: 'B' in the "gear shift" means that the car will shift into a lower gear, so it does brake with the fuel motor, not the electric one, the most efficient way is just not accelerating (Is like a Tesla but less agressive) so 'B' is used only when the angle of the slope is high when decreasing

It’s fine. Nothing special, I would say it sounds as good as a typical car.

I do not believe you can use Bluetooth. I think it has to be a wire connection.

Our mistake. I did not even notice it was a different generation until you mentioned it. The first few generations look pretty similar.
