  • Hey everyone and welcome to Full Throttle Cars! In today's video we review a 2006 Toyota Prius. We go over why anyone on a budget should consider the Prius when looking for a used car. These cars are extremely fuel efficient and at a time when gas is over $5.00 a gallon that is more important than ever. There is also a low cost of entry into buying a Prius and low maintenance costs as long as you don't have to replace the battery.

      @@FullThrottleCars thanks! Love my 07 Gen 2. But the fuel gauge issue REALLY bugs me. I tried the reset process. No luck. Open to other options please!

    Awesome video Nick and Nathan. I believe that my Prius is quoted 51 HWY and 48 City mpg. Appreciate you guys doing a full spec on the car, wish I could’ve dusted it before 🧐😬!

      Thank you! Also thanks for the correction, that aligns closer to what it seemed we were getting. It clean enough lol. One of the cleaner cars we have made videos with, definitely cleaner than Nathan’s civic lol.

    Just to clarify: 'B' in the "gear shift" means that the car will shift into a lower gear, so it does brake with the fuel motor, not the electric one, the most efficient way is just not accelerating (Is like a Tesla but less agressive) so 'B' is used only when the angle of the slope is high when decreasing

      Thank you for the information, I did not know that. I should’ve done a little more research.

    How does the audio quality sound from the speakers on the Prius

    • @FullThrottleCars
      @FullThrottleCars  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It’s fine. Nothing special, I would say it sounds as good as a typical car.

    Are you able to connect an iPhone via Bluetooth and play music through it?

    • @FullThrottleCars
      @FullThrottleCars  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do not believe you can use Bluetooth. I think it has to be a wire connection.

    The fact that you used a thumbnail of a different generation Prius bothers me. 😂

    • @FullThrottleCars
      @FullThrottleCars  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Our mistake. I did not even notice it was a different generation until you mentioned it. The first few generations look pretty similar.

      @@FullThrottleCars It's all good. I have a second generation 09 Prius just like the one in the video. The third generation has different tail lights and a different front end shape.
