Dogs to me represent pure positive energy. They exemplify living fully in the present moment which is something we all have access to, no matter how much negativity and contrast this world throws at us. "This faith is all I have" speaks to the idea of staying true to source (or "pure positive") energy which is very fragile at first but becomes molded by our constant interactions with life experience over time.
It's crazy, the instant that song started during my first playback of the album, I've had this déjà-vu feeling like I'd been forever waiting for this song to come back to me or something. This song makes me feel like there might be some hope for the future for the first time in years...
EDIT: added chords at the end :) The harmony in this is sooo interesting... Mostly major but also quite complex and dissonant, with unusual angular chord changes, giving such a bittersweet, desolate and turbulent feeling under the broadly chill, joyful vibe :) The King has done it again 👑🎶 Key: G major Verse: D/F# - G - C∆7 (Vᵇ - I - IV∆7) (bassline is F#, G, C) Bridge: G - Cm - G ... D/B - D/F# - G (I - iv - I ... Vᶜ - Vᵇ - I)
It's crazy to think that this is the guy who made Out Getting Ribs. That was over 10 years ago, he was just a kid then. Ever since then he's made so much great stuff. His music sounds like no one else. Great track/video that makes you feel like you're in a different time and place. The dogs are beautiful as well, God bless them.
I just listened this song more of 3 times on repeat and makes me feel so glad and understood. This man put his feelings and his heart in every single word. For real, thanks krule and his dogs love them
Rainy and Gloomy Day in California this morning. Just brewed myself a Spanish coffee and now tuning into some new Krule. Life is good man, it's the simplest things that really lighten up my day. Thanks gentlemen. Cheerio.
This is amazing, I think perhaps this is about fatherhood? Having a kid who’s “you” with your eyes, your face, your hair and everything that made them beautiful is scary because the world is full of crazy and mysterious things. You don’t want that kid to experience the worst that you had, rather you give them a full and kind life. The child becomes your faith, which sometimes is the only thing you have. This was just a simple take on the song, but I absolutely love it. I have been playing non-stop since it released.
I think that it’s about fatherhood too, also you can see 2 dogs in the video, which in my opinion simbolize father and kid, amazing song and amazing artist..
@@ishvien yes, everything just ties together. Amazing people making amazing productions. I want to try and get a ticket for one of his concerts so badly.
i haven't listened to Krule in like 2 years. I remember bawling my eyes out to his music, calming weed panic attacks listening to his tiny desk. Now being in a better place this is very sentimental. Also a more upbeat instrumental, vibe is very fitting to my situation. It's not like now im perfect or made it completely but I feel better and this is represented by this song, it's still melancholic but not as sad as it used to be. Very weird of me to say that but I had to get it out there.
This song feels like the light at the end of the tunnel. You are in a better spot than you were before, but not quite where you want to be still. If that makes sense.

So true. I lived in Seaforth for a year and it's strange to hear this song and reflect on the grim streets on the way to the train station before escaping into Liverpool. Those memory feel quite haunting now knowing I've moved on and wouldn't want to go back. Yet somehow still feel nostalgic for the place.

Lloré bastante con esta canción. He escuchado tanto The Ooz para lidiar con una serie de duelos y ahora Seaforth suena a salir de la cama, después de meses llorando, para seguir con la vida.

What a gem! King Krule perfectly captures the unspoken love between a human and their pet. This brought me to tears as i look to my pet as the only one who shares the traumas ive seen in my broken world.
