Awww poor Magnum. I can't help but laugh at Milo lol he was like mom what is his problem. Magnum was really enjoying the air on the way back. His little beard blowing around ❤
I totally agree with another poster that Magnum seems to be a leader at home but if put in the car he loses it. I remember you and husband took the boys to the lake and Magnum was crying so bad you had to pull over take him from his crate ahnd ride with him on your lap.
Poor Magnum I felt so sad for him,and Milo was just looking like whats going on,was so good to see magnum happier again on the ride home, its awful when you have one that is that anxious going to the vets,
I just love it how different miniature schnauzers personalities are. They are so smart. I had two miniature schnauzers who were brothers from the same parents but from two different litters. I want another one. One of mine cried anytime he rode in the car and in the vet’s office until he saw the vet. The other one wasn’t as nervous. ❤❤I wonder how the mother bunny will get to them. I guess she can climb over the fencing.
Magnum reminds me of a dog I had a few years ago. She would whine and pout whenever we went to the vet. She was fine riding in the car, as long as we were not going to the vet. My 3 are all as intent as Magnum when anything is in the yard.
At one time I had two salt & pepper Schnauzer,s that were best buddies. Now I have an 8 mth old Shih Tzu named Bailey. While watching this video on my tv, Bailey was intensely watching as soon as he heard Magnum in the car. Bailey acts the same way in the car with one difference. That's when we call him Sir Barf a lot!
I remember when you vacationed with the dogs and you had to stop the car because Magnum sounded like ‘Mama … Mama’, lol. Mine also hates the car, whimpers, pants and stress yawns (but no ‘Mama’).
Too funny! Dogs love to smell each other’s butts! 😂Glad to see you’re having a good day! Take care and kiss the babies for me! I’m emotionally attached to them. 😊
Magnum is soooo cute! Poor baby. He does stress out so much....adult bunnies in my yard really love clover, if you have any maybe in the front yard that you could put in the pen area. The bunny mom might like it /like the smell too.
Magnum reminded me of my Bentley who would carry on whether we took him to the vet. or the groomers. I miss him so much. I’m hoping the baby bunnies 🐰 do well. Thanks for sharing. 🥰🐰
Poor baby Magnum, not a good day ;) Good he felt relieved on the way homeand had something interesting to watch.,Milo is a cutiepie :) So exciting how it will turn out with the babybunnies. Take care ,hugs ❤
Poor Magnum❤ My schnauzer Winston looks exactly like Magnum and does the same thing in the car. He always wants to go but is really anxious like Magnum. He eventually settles down. Good thing there is nothing serious going on with your boys. Hopefully Mama bunny will come back and take care of her babies. Have a great day!!!❤
Had a black schnauzer Gary he even went after birds not just rabbits and mice. Also had a salt and pepper schnauzer August, he was sweet as pie birds could land right next to him and he wouldn't do anything.
Poor Magnum he is not happy but so darn cute. I had to use a special shampoo on my dog for his fungal infection his was mostly on his back but it definetly helped and has kept it from coming back. also whitens his coat. I don't know if it would help but the name of it is DermaBenSs I used it 2x/wk for three weeks then as needed. It smells wonderful and his coat is always soft. Just a warning it will bleach towels and clothing from the peroxide in it.
Poor Magnum but I am glad he got better on his ride home🥰 Thank you, Kim for protecting those bunnies from the boys. Yes, it will be dufficult to tell if mother is still around ... she could have been killed by a fox, hawk, or even nearby traffic but she may still return.
I would move the fence all the way out of the way at dusk and leave it off until morning. Maybe the mom came but could not figure out where to get to her babies.
I wanted to make a quick comment about the continuous glucose monitor that one of the dogs is wearing. I’m diabetic and have been for a couple of decades and I have a CGM along with an insulin pump. (Medtronic 780G) my pump works in conjunction with my continuous glucose monitor. The good thing about the 780 G program is if the blood sugars start rising, the pump will automatically deliver insulin doses to bring the number back down. I love it and it has really helped my numbers improve drastically, just wondering if that is something that you may have discussed with your vet or even if they do any such thing because I know they are pretty pricey without insurance especially
We had this exact same situation with bunnies earlier in the year--a rabbit all of a sudden made a nest out in the middle of our yard. I suspected she had moved the nest from danger; we had seen some action with 2 rabbits running around the yard, also there were a couple of hawks in the area but I don't know if that was a factor. We have a dog that would kill those baby bunnies so we put a barrier up like you did, and we heard the same thing that the mother would come at dawn or dusk, but that never happened. Earlier in the day, we saw an adult rabbit killed on our road--not sure but we kind of assumed it was the mother. We had the poor little bunnies in the nest moving around for days and after a few days, they all just died. We never saw another rabbit near the nest. It seemed like an odd thing--the nest out in the middle of our fenced-in yard, because usually they would try to nest under a bush or something (we did take out a bush that they used to use in our yard). We have a Boston Terrier that would definitely kill those bunnies, but the mini schnauzer before him wouldn't hurt a fly. The only thing to do is either take to a wild-life rehabilitator--not sure they can take in rabbits or they maybe could be handfed with replacement kitten-milk formula and I guess there is a very specific way they have to be fed
😂 I’m cracking up at Milo’s irritation with brother’s drama!😂
😂😂😂
Love Milo and Magnum, Magnum is so vocal!
Milo is an angel in the car! Poor Magnum. I like to think Magnum would be a good nanny to the baby bunnies like Nana was to Peter Pan!
Magnum tells the saddest stories. Bless his little heart!
Awww poor Magnum. I can't help but laugh at Milo lol he was like mom what is his problem. Magnum was really enjoying the air on the way back. His little beard blowing around ❤
Poor magnum. I know how he feels. My dog was watching the screen wondering who was crying. Poor Milo
The ladies know to always pick up some magnums. 😂

Milo's like 'why's he fussing Mom' 😂😂Milo will calm him down, hopefully. Mily Wily is my fav 😊😊
Magnum is a vocal thing just like our Penny was. She was a lot like ol' Miggy, too. Milo is just sitting there being a sweet and good boy, Mom ❣️
Milo is so cool while Magnum freaks out! Good to see all is well including the bunny babies! 😊
My girls get overexcited when we go in the car sometimes, and they do the loud yawns, it's so cute!
Love my schnauzer
Kim you sound good. Like you are in recovery mode. What an amazing person you are!
Oh Magnum! Never heard him act like that. 😆 Milo thinking and you thought I'd have the issues? 😂

I love the joy in your voice.
Magnum is amazing, seems like the king of the house when he’s not in the car! 😘
So true!

Love seeing the boys still in the yard enjoy themselves! ❤

Yes, we saw the bunnies moving. I hope the Mom comes back and they survive. If she doesn't maybe call a Rescue to get them?
Mama bunny came last night 😊

Do you have a wildlife rescue service?

Maybe a rescue group would come get the baby bunnies...
Hugs for all .

Maybe lift the whole fence away for the momma and lift it back for the dogs.

Magnum looks like a old man lol

FYI - bunnies disperse by 15-20 days of age

How sad for you😢
How is the mother bunny coming in? From underground? What a crazy place to build a nest!
😢 so sorry 😢
None of our schnauzers liked going anywhere in the car.Guess they always thought they were going to the vet or groomer.
❤️❤️
Hey Kim, can you please help me out with some of the pee bands that you have for the late Mr.Grant? I will be on Messenger
