Glad to see you back Kim!! It's totally understandable that after all these years of caring for the boys you'd want to have time for yourself!! You've been working so hard for them!!
Thanks so much for the update. Sounds like your future plan is a good one. Seeing how much love you give to all your babies is awesome. But having them all go through old age will be very difficult emotionally! Not taking any new ones seems like a good idea. Looking forward to traveling and spending time with your hubby also sounds great! Bahahahha the evil snow shovel 🤣🤣🤣!!
I understand exactly how you feel. For the past 30 years I’ve had Minature schnauzers and after Barkley died I was like no more. After I found peace that he was no longer with me I really kinda felt free. I don’t mean to sound like I don’t miss him but the last 6 months of his life I was wore out trying to save him. Lots of restless nights and tears. So no more dogs for me and my husband and I can travel freely. Ty for sharing your life with us.❤
So wonderful to see everyone ❤ you’re absolutely right. You deserve to enjoy what you would like to do. After our loved Schnauzer passed away we were able to travel more. For now enjoy the pack 😊
Lovely to see a video of all the boys, you really do an amazing job with them all kim,bet you will be glad when the snow clears and you get some warmer weather kim
Good morning 🌬️❄️ we woke up to 16° feels like -3🥶. I have been blessed with sharing my life with several breeds of dogs over the years 🥰 which includes 4 Miniature Schnauzers🥰 I adopted 2 at 8 weeks old and the other 2 were seniors at ages 8yrs old and 11yrs old 🥰. I would have given anything for my Schnauzers to live to 16yrs old. All 4 of my schnauzers were healthy though and had no medical ongoing issues until the end. 2 passed away at 11 yrs old, the other 2 passed away at 14yrs old. I love watching your videos! I am so glad Mr Grant was a part of your family! He seemed to fit in so well! I am glad you and your husband have decided to plan for "US TIME" when the time comes that you'll be able to travel! Your time together is important as well!! As much as I loved ALL my dogs(1 English Pointer (rescued when I was 7yrs old), (As an adult --- 1 English Cocker Spaniel, 3 Yorkies, 2 Chihuahuas, 4 Schnauzers and now a Poodle/Chiweenie mix. I've always felt the closest bonds with the schnauzers 🥰 My Poodle/Chiweenie mix and I are extremely bonded though due to some horrific life events I have been through. My little boy was given to me when he was under 8 weeks old🥰 He is going to be 2yrs old May 31st🐕 He has gotten me through some very, very emotionally devastating times. I still would love to have one more schnauzer but I'm not sure that will happen. I am going to be 69 on April 30😉. You and your family have a wonderful day!! Stay warm! Best wishes, Kim
My boys loved the barking at the end. Glad things seem to be settling a little. You must have kept all of the snow up north. I have to laugh at how they dogs bight at the snow shovel. Mine run from it.
Hi Kim, the birthday card was for you. I mailed it back in Feb in time for your birthday. Sorry it was late but hopefully you enjoyed your special day. Love all your videos! Renee
Good morning, Kim! Loved the wake-up portion of the video, especially seeing Kitten so active. I chuckled when he nonchalantly walked under Magnum who stood leaning on the kitchen cabinet waiting for his morning snack (5:10). One doesn't often see cats so accustomed to Schnauzer personalities. My cat, Bean, became quite concerned when he heard the Boys barking at the end of the video. Btw, Bean is a twin to Merlin, right down to those few white hairs on his chest. And he ignores commands just like Merlin, as well, lol! Have said a prayer for you, as you and Tom move ahead. Recovering from the loss of Mr Grant will take time. And my heart goes out to you as you meet the needs of your Mother-in-law. These next years will bring both challenges and times of joy. Also, I think limiting the size of your fur baby family is wise. Enjoy each of the little loves you have right now. God bless you, Kim, and your family; have a blessed day. 💖👼🐾🐾💖💖🐾🐾💖🐾🐾💖🐾🐾💖🐾🐾💖🐾🐾💖🐾🐾💖🐱🐾🐾💖🐱🐾🐾💖💖✝👣💖👣✝💖
Yes, the kitties and the boys get a long great thankfully. Magnum and max do like to chase Merlin every now and then. I told my husband they’ve taken over Mr Grants job of kitty chasing lol!
I so appreciate that you and your husband have given so much of your time to love these animals. People who don't have cats and dogs cannot understand what they mean to us. However, you and your husband should,(this is a woman not quilte old enough to be your mother saying), get a house sitter who loves dogs, and get on out for a weekend alone. LIke a date, every month! Just like you would when your kids were little and your parents could enjoy the grandkids! You can afford to pay for the sitter/sitters and you absolutely "should". The other thing I MUST say is: when, you consider how much water it takes to get warm water in your kitchen, let that go. Anyone who criticizes you for the amount of water you "waste" doesn't have a real life of giving and loving so many animals like you do. You are loved and held up for your love of animals.
I am 64 and have 2 mini schnauzers. I should have stopped with the last 2 dogs. I am tired. I love my dogs but I am ready to have less responsibility. So when you get to this stage you will probably feel the same. I took care of both my parents for about 10 years. On had dementia the other had several serious things going on and needed assistance, that was my dad. He had kidney disease, AFIB, congestive heart failure, prostate cancer, abdominal aortic aneurysm. He had different doctors for his issues plus his regular GP. Between the 2 parents and working full time, spending time with grandkids I am worn out. Love them all and do not begrudge taking care of anyone.
I miss my schnauzer so much. I have another dog , but schnauzers have a special place in my ❤. A wise decision on your part though. You take excellent care of all of the fur babies, and your home. It's also extremely expensive! Go bless you l.
So happy to see your video this morning. You really have your hands full but you handle it so well and you are so organized. All your babies are so loved and they are adorable. I think I'm always looking at Miggy because he is so trying to make sure he is right there with you! Hope he starts playing ball again when that snow is gone! Love them all with their different personalities! I only have one, Winston, and he is a handful by himself. Also spoiled rotten! I'm in awe of you. Have a great week with your boys and see you soon ❤
I missed the Schnauzers! So happy that you figured out Miggy’s issue with not eating and not acting like himself! Miggy isn’t Miggy unless he is barking and pestering you to kick his ball! I thought Magnum and Milo were only like 2 and 3 years old! I guess time does really go by fast! All the boys look so good that it is hard to guess their age! You take such good care of them! Having that many dogs is a huge commitment and does really take a lot of work! You have done a great job with those fur babies!
SO happy to see you guys! Missed y’all! That’s SO smart about pouring a little warm water on their crunchies! Love them all eating together! ❤️🐶🐾😻 We got thunder, then hail, sleet and then snow here too. 6 inches. Love Merlin watching his Cat TV aka window bird feeder! Oh that gift Michelle made us so thoughtful and beautiful! Awww! Mr Grant coffee mug! Everyone was so sweet to send you cards and gifts! You ALL are loved ever SO much! It’s difficult taking care of senior dogs. My Sherlock will turn 17 April 1st. Praying your babies will live long lives! People should understand. Great to watch y’all before I head out to make puppy paths in the backyard clearing snow too! 🐾🤣 Love & Blessings to you all and Everypawdy! ❌⭕️❌⭕️
Feeding definitely is a major production! I have the same feelings about getting another Schnauzer. Almost got one about 6 months ago, started crying and I just couldn’t. My heart was with the two I had. So now we dog sit for family and a good friend. That way we get our furkid fix! Glad you like the album. It was a bit of love and therapy for me. Big hugs ❤
Thank you for the nice video. Iam sorry you got winter back, hope its gone by Easter. Happy to see Miggy eat again. Merling is hilarious lol,he sure wanted to be the star of the show today 😃 Have a nice Monday ❤
Welcome back Kim and the boys. I can understand wanting to have some time to travel. We are retired and my wife often brings up travel, and I would not ever board my 3. So we will travel at some future date. Mine are 10,8, and 6, so have many years left with my best friends. Have a great week, and lets hope the snow is about done for you.
Good morning 🌄 to everyone. It is always so good to see you all. Please give all the fur babies hug's 🤗 and kisses 💋 for me. Enjoy your day Kim may everything go smoothly. Thank you so very much for all that you do. Your hard work and dedication is outstanding 💪👍
I agree with you Kim and respect your decision not to take on any more dogs. You do have to plan for the future and consider not just their aging but your own as well, not to mention the expense of medical care for them all. Never feel pressured to take on someone else's pet, there are a lot of good shelters that can help them with adoptions, if needed, I'm sure.
Kim you and your husband have your hands completely full taking care of 6 dogs. It is a lot of work, time and money. Just because Grant passed doesn't mean you would want another dog. I understand perfectly.
So glad you stopped that medicine the vet told you to continue to use and now Miggy is eating and acting his self again. Vets are good, but sometimes you can't listen to everything they say. They aren't always right. I hope he continues to do better. He is such a sweet boy.
Glad to see you back Kim!! It's totally understandable that after all these years of caring for the boys you'd want to have time for yourself!! You've been working so hard for them!!
Thanks for your video! Good to see all the boys and kitties too! So adorable. Miss seeing Mr. Grant though still brings the tears. 🐾🐕🐈
Absolutely love how well you take care of your boys. I am a fellow dog mom too and spoil my girl. Absolutely rotten. 💖
Thanks so much for the update. Sounds like your future plan is a good one. Seeing how much love you give to all your babies is awesome. If someone absolutely needs to give up a furbaby, perhaps try to find a breed rescue. They usually screen their adopters pretty well.

Yes, I love it! Thank you again 😊
Good morning 🌞. Lol, the struggle is real with schnauzers, when trying to shovel🤣🤣
Yes it is lol!
They all look sleepy. Good job mommy😊
Why do you crate your dogs, and not have them sleep on doggie beds? Just wondering?
Michelle did a BEAUTIFUL job on that photo album ❤❤
She did 😊
Love your schnauzers -- still thinking of Mr. Grant but what could I say life goes on?
Thank you for the nice video. Iam sorry you got winter back, hope its gone by Easter. Happy to see Miggy eat again. Merling is hilarious lol,he sure wanted to be the star of the show today 😃 Have a nice Monday ❤

Good morning!
Morning!
Sorry you had to deal with the snow! Typical Michigan spring....LOL
Yes, mother nature always has to hit us with some snow early spring lol!
