I have been watching several of your videos. I purchased my Redeye about a year ago and have finally started to add some parts to improve the HP. I have the HP tuners loaded in and am just getting ready to change the pulley so I can start the same process of tuning. Thanks for the very informative video's.
Perfect timing I'm doing the same, I just installed my procharger and installed base tune. I'm going in the morning to data log for my tuner. I've never done this before so it's a big help thanks
Back about 20-25 years ago. I worked the hoot owl shift. so my nights off I’d be out in the garage building my 55 truck. Many times my wife would honk at 6:30am on her way to work. I loved it no one would bother me lol
Great video. Having my Trackhawk worked on by HHP in two months and we’re doing a Littens 2.85 and 3 tunes (tcm, 93, and MS109). Excited to see what we make on that setup. Goal is 850-900.
Wow good informative video!!! I've got a 2.85 pulley that everyone told me I'd need an aftermarket injectors. I'm thinking sticking with stock will be good to go
Never wait on injectors a lower duty cycle is always better. It's always easier to pull out fuel from a larger injector then to push more fuel out of a stock injector
We have the same car Speedy, the only difference is mine is a 6M trans. And by chance we now have the same upgrade, 2.72 hellraiser pulley. Took mine to the Richard Petty Garage and had the 825 hp package installed and it pulled 730 whp on the dyno. I'd be very interested to see what your car would dyno at.
Hey Doug, I'm a new to this channel and I had a question for you and I know this is a older video. I'm 3 hours from Petty's garage up here in Virginia and I'm willing to make the drive because I know the work will be top quality. If you don't mind I have two questions for you. First, I'm looking at the same 8:25 horsepower package that you got. How long did it take them to do the job and did you have to take it back there to get them to adjust the tune? Thanks for your time.
Old vid i know, but that car was NOT running right. 16-16.5 lbs of boost and it was sluggish. I register 17lbs and it is Rowdy! Anything over 5lbs in 4th or less and it will roll. Its a manual. The boost spiking up at part throttle with no response was also not right. You should have been getting some sort of good acceleration at those boost levels.
It's a shame NO ONE will tune a Hellcat on TH-cam. They always want to keep this MYTHICAL view of tuning and that it involves fairy dust and magic powder. Maybe I need to start a tune and learn channel. I don't know a lot about the tuning but I know enough to tell you it's NOT rocket science. Even Speedy says oh I don't want to give away secret info he had learned. Give me a break😵💫
@@reyperez3424 Exactly, My tuner has been down this path many times over and if you are keeping it stock shift points and a SUPER conservative tune, the stock injectors will "work" but you will never get the benefits of the pulley unless you live in Colorado lol
How does this guy not have more subs ??? great channel

With those mods you'll be around 750hp on 93 and 800hp on the race gas
As usual, great presentation and great content.
Love your channel. Thank you!!
As always very informative

Agree 100%. This was just an experiment. Injectors were already on the shelf and get installed this upcoming weekend 😎
Thanks Speedy. As always great info . I too use Mike at OST dyno For my Tuner. Fantastic shop very knowledgeable and very fair.
Love your videos and channel! Very in detail and informative!! 2 thumbs up.!!
Great channel. Informative, technical, and clean! The place for Hellcat owners to go!
That "AG" blower sqeezing out a BIT more in my opinion. Good video.
I said you would need injectors. Glad your tuner agreed. Another great video.
Awesome content!
Nice work. Do you think you would need injectors with the 2.85 pulley?
Don't cut corners on the fuel system. Definitely get injectors.
Just subscribed even though ive been checking yr channel out. Always good shit

What else did they upgrade or what comes with that package?

Do I have to tune my Hellcat if I install the 2.72 pulley?
Definitely.
Nice!
This mod was done in the winter? no wonder your calendar shows January! thought you were just too lazy to change it to June!
LOL

2.72 and 2.85 have been proven to need injectors. I guess you did this just for information purposes?
Depends on the car and conditions it seems. Mike from OST has done several that didn't need an injector change. Kinda odd but is what it is.

Sometimes you can get away with not changing injectors but that doesn’t mean you don’t need them
Agree 100%.

Negative, it depends on the actual and conditions, where you live.. etc
