hi, may i ask how come the bridge lances are not flatten as well? also, given the thickness of sheet metal to be 1mm how do we know how far the bridge lances can extend outwards? could you please share your knowledge on this with us? much appreciated! :D

I am a beginner myself in solidworks and I think I can answer your first question...flatten option only works if there are any bends/ flanges in the part. Bridge lances, as he told are forming tools and they are not flanges or anything. So they don't show up on flatten. The depth of the Bridge Lance depends upon its layout. It can be customized to any depth you want.
