I use a paste of baking soda and a bit of water, I have asthma. No fumes for me. Used Easy Off for years. Not any more.
I have started using my microfiber mop with a clean mop head from the dollar store. I have mobility issues. It works fantastic! Way easier then crawling around the oven. Way less time also!

And remember, never spray the oven cleaner on a hot surface it will adhere and it's just harder to clean off but it will work still

I just bought this stuff today because of you and my stove looks new !!!
So you put it on and warm until 200, turn off the oven then spray the inside?, close and wait 15 minutes?
My only question would be how do you clean the Easy-Off residue from the fan at the back of the oven. Other than that, it looks like a great job.

What happened?
@@teethbeans9994 The easy off was too abrasive/corrosive and broke down the aluminum inside the air fryer. So now I only clean air fryers with dawn dish soap.
Easy off is basically a strong base, the yellow one is sodium hydroxide (lye). Bases react with aluminum and other reactive metals eating away at them, making them turn black, pitted, and ugly. Don't clean aluminum with the stuff.
Works really good on the bottoms of pots and pans though, as long as its not aluminum!

Remove your oven door before wiping it clean. It's so much easier that way.👌🏽💖
Oven cleaner is toxic to your lungs and skin. so make sure you are wearing a ventilator, eyewear when spraying, THICK kitchen gloves, a long shirt or sweater you do not mind ruining AND make sure you have constant airflow in the house when you use over cleaners!
Well I hope it works. Last time I used oven cleaner....my fingerprints disappeared. I forgot the gloves...

Yes, it’s highly corrosive. Literally breaks down skin on contact. The fumes can do the same to your lungs.
Y'all think vinegar and baking soda would work just as good?
What if you just swept it out of loose debris and then set the oven to self clean??? Would that work. I need to clean my oven... but I dread the easy off because the fumes are so bad.

The cleaning cycle in my oven gets it this clean.(and my cookie sheets) and vinegar and water to clean the residue from that. Looks amazing!

I use a foaming grill cleaner, works better, no scrubbing. Wait 5 minutes, and just wipe it all off.

You know how you heat the oven first and then spray the product, does the product then evaporate into pretty gnarly fumes?
It can! However it has fumes either way! I would suggest using a safer product if you’re worried about that. Degreaser is no joke, I probably also wouldn’t heat it up myself. However this woman does seem to know what she’s doing, so I’m sure she has safety knowledge. Perhaps she wears a special mask? Idk!
Easy Off fumes smell bad period! Very strong
My mom NEVER turns on the oven when she uses easy off. However, she does leave it on for a longer amount of time tho n has never had a problem.
There are oven liners that go on the bottom that will avoid the bottom getting gross. Helps a lot for renters
It's' what I use.
Oven liners go on the bottom rack, not the floor of the oven.
It works MUCH BETTER if you let it set overnight.
You make it look so easy. I spent an entire morning trying to clean this thing wound up, throwing it out and buying a new one. I’ll leave the cleaning to the professionals now.

omg, thanks for the nice tip! I also highly recommend using crocodile Cloth Cleaning Wipes! They'll help you to remove grease and dirty stains easily not only from ovens, but also from pans and grills! try them!

Did this today. I had the hardest time getting the residue off. Water, vinegar lots of it still no avail. Made a baking soda water paste and applied. Hopefully tomorrow it will come off. I don't think I'll be doing that ever again.
How do u clean in between the glass of your oven????????? I have stains running down the window of my oven. I’ve cleaned inside & outside of glass so it’s def in between the glass panes.

The cold way: spray on oven and line with plastic wrap to keep or from drying. Wait a couple hours. 👍

A little tip: The oven windows can come out. All you have to do is remove the door and they slide out of these slits on the bottom of the door
Hi, I always enjoy all your wonderful tips you are so kind enough to share with us...a family member of mine recently bought her first home, and it needed a little bit of TLC, but the one thing she is struggling with is the white toilet bowl in her master bathroom...sorry TMI, but if anyone knows a good tip, then that would definitely be you! It's not the ring around I've seen you clean, it looks more like tire marks...lol around the bottom hole where the water flushes through. She's tried everything under the sun and still can get those nasty marks off? I'm all out of suggestions, so I'm asking you for help in this hot mess....thank you soo much for the amazing content that you share for us and always making is such a positive space to come and learn new hacks and tips!

Show us how to remove the oven door & clean the inside of this particular type of oven
To remove the door just open it a bit then lift. Most doors are removable this way but some have latches or a different set up. Some are heavier than others so be aware.There are how to videos online.

Good job! And you can remove the door just flip the clips and slide up with the door cracked open. You can really reach inside.
Easiest way to clean the racks remove before heating the oven put them in a garbage bag, spray well, twist the end and let them set for a couple of hours you will not have to scrub them at all just rinse very well.
I'm a goober I didn't know we were suppose to turn the oven on. I let the spray dry then steam it off. But your way looks way easier.

Yes. Strangely brown residue has accumulated between the glass on my oven door. This happened after my first use!
You can also do it overnight for those STUBBORN BAKED ON MESSES by the time you wake up the next day the oven is CLEAN just make sure YOU CLEAN IT before using it. And use FOIL on the bottom so you don’t always gotta clean the bottom just replace the foil. My mom does this and IT WORKS. As I’m writing this I got foil on the bottom of the oven
Hate to say it, but we ruined the bottom of a previous self cleaning oven we had by putting foil on the bottom of it before cooking. Some of the foil stuck to the bottom of the oven and would never come off again. It was embedded into the oven floor. So that's just a warning to people that it can happen.
My oven is like a crime zone from the last tenant and I have tried cleaning it multiple times but still baked on grease and smokes and sets off fire alarm every time I try to use it! Help!!
Could you set up additional ventilation (box fans) to push the smoke out the windows/door before the smoke detectors would alarm?
Try the fume-free version. You don't heat it first. Leave it overnight, lightly spray again the NEXT day when you forget to wipe it out, then everything wipes out without scrubbing at all. I promise!
Is there a product that can help reach the back of the oven to wipe the residue? I have a bad back and knees and cannot get on the floor to do this.

Rinse it and vinegar and water it gets the residue of the easy off out easier. I personally can't stand no spray oven cleaners I gag when I have to use them and I can't get inside my oven properly to clean the back the top and the sides

I’m a renter and so man reviews for this said it ruined the interior of their oven and they followed the instructions to a T. Also, oven manufacturers say don’t use oven cleaner for self cleaning ovens because they can ruin that function. Is this really safe?!
If you take the door off it makes cleaning the inside a whole lot easier especially if you pull out the drawer underneath then you can slide underneath there and sit up while you wipe it all out
Most ovens have a clean feature and will clean you oven for you.

I have this same oven... Does the bottom come up to clean underneath it? I can see things have been spilled down the slits in the side and can't figure how to lift it up.
Wow! REALLY clean!
Avoid the super harsh chemicals. Spray it down with degreaser and let it sit, use a pumice stone and water. Will take longer depending on how dirty it is but you won't have to choke back the acid in the air

I don't like using Easy Off , too much residue left over , takes too much to rinse out . I seen alot of ovens with white residue inside after someone used this stuff . I rather use a degreaser it works great .

Be careful with oven cleaner, my ex got some on his arm and ended up a couple days later in the emergency room with a painful red line going up his arm. He was treated for blood poisoning. This was decades ago so idk if its still made with the same ingredients
