That moment when you THINK that a thumbnail is clickbait only to realize that it's actually underselling the truth a little bit. This is quite incredibly to hear about and I'm really glad to see Choco get more shine in clips as I really only have clips and the occasional collab on the main channel to go from as she's not one of the Holo JP members that really speaks any English but I'd be lying if she doesn't fascinate me from the clips that I've seen.

But it's only good for the month, the idea is that during that time the streamer does members only streams which are really entertaining and worth the value of the membership with a reminder that the gifted membership will end. They then become full blown members (some of them at least) on their own.

Wow, I was sure this was going to be clickbait based on how she was talking about 100 in a stream being an achievement at the start.
I thought the same thing lmao, figured the clipper threw an extra 0 in there as a "joke". But no, that really happened, holy cow! There were some oil barons in chat maxing out cards left and right with an avalanche of 50 gift subs!
I saw the VOD, 10+ freaking hours. I was like "dafuq? It's just a morning stream tho, what happened?"😅
Man I was there the whole stream, it was wild, I couldn't even tell the occasion while it was happening. I wonder if she broke any records. Her viewership went up during the stream and just about when she got 10k members she was at a little over 10k viewers when around the beginning it was maybe around 3-4k.

@@alxcrvs1908 It's one member gifting you a membership. It's not YT gifting it to you.
@@alxcrvs1908 From my own experience, you have to be active in chat to be eligible (don't know how active precisely) and then when memberships are dropped, you get a notification within chat to activate receiving gifts for that specific streamer. It's easy to miss in Holo streams as chat usually zooms. However, when you activate it you can usually get a membership within the same stream (or next stream). Hope this helps!
@@alxcrvs1908 Anytime anyone gifts memberships, you can press the gift notifications. Select "Allow Gifts". You have to be active to have a high chance of getting one. But since there were thousands of gifts it would have been very easy to comment a few times and get it moments later.
It happened to me. I heard from Twitter there was a lot of gifting in Choco's channel. I commented like two times. Just a word and and an emote, and got it minutes later.
However, it's impossible for brand accounts to receive gifts.
