CC’s primary contribution has been to expose the WNBA for all its dysfunction. This vote perfectly illustrates this and massively contributes to that revelatory function. It’s perfect. And if this continues, mainly if the Fever hire a new, actual coach and the Fever stop playing W-ball and start playing basketball, then the revolution continues. 😊

I had never watched a WNBA game until this year. I watch tons of Womens NCAA basketball for over 4 decades and there is no drama. The drama, the pettiness, the unsportsmanship and abuse towards Caitlin Clark in the W was exhausting. The NBA dudes were praising Victor all season, great to see. Lebron was tested but no one doubted his greatness (did you hear that Swoops). I gave the W a shot this season. But Ill stick to college womens BB from here on out.

Oh it matters Sir; it matters a lot. Just not the way you think.
1st of all, transparency is a thing. YOU would own up to your vote because your integrity forces you to do right and justify your vote, should you have one. What do they care if they don't have to justify their vote? While it's not the end of the world as you say, it IS the another frayed thread in the W image.
2nd, The integrity of the award has been befouled by the one vote. The award went from meritorious to "who you know, not what you know".
As far as what it means for me, it has little to no bearing, as my fandom is not affected by the status of the Award, so long as it was issued to Caitlin Clark. However; it SHOULD matter to the Organization since the image they portrait is a big part of their agenda to grow the game. If I were them, I'd scrutinize the process as to avoid issuance of said award becoming a joke like the Pat Tillman Award, wrongfully issued to a non-deserving individual that was unworthy.
    Of course it won't ruin CC's summer; that's not what this is about. A win's a win's a win. 50% + 1 is a win.
It's about using controversy to further a dialogue with a negative impact on the growth of the game.
    In my humble opinion.
    Just ask Shaq.

Yes it’s just another slap in her face, can’t understand how Reese keeps getting called a great player, she offensively fouls everytime she’s going after her own rebounds

The weird thing is she's not the first white woman to win ROY. There have also been white women that won MVP. So why is Caitlyn Clark specifically causing so much uproar? 🤷‍♂

Be careful Dan, when you respond back with facts to those Caitlyn haters., they’ll all come after you and label you as the one who is causing noise. From their point of view, any rebuttal to Caitlyn haters are the ones making big deal out of nothing and stirring up noise. They’ll label you as the aggressor and troublemaker for simply responding back with facts on their jealousy and hating.

Get off your high horse pal you Clark haters are worse in that your biases aren't based on anything other than a personal dislike of the player not what she's accomplished on the court which is substantial.

It does matter because you have to be one dedicated, foolishly biased, irresponsible 🤡 to be that one person to vote Angel Reese for this award. CC would have been one of the very few players in the history of that league to win the award unanimously. It’s a big deal because it’s yet another small but troubling indication of how petty and envious a number of these people associated with this unserious league are towards Caitlin Clark and her impact.

Was it because of his race?🤔
    The team he played for?🤔
    Or was it spite?🤔
